"Lots of room to hold a large group. Good location as you can travel throughout Switzerland within a reasonable drive. Quite the drive up the mountain through the narrow and winding streets if you aren’t used to it but all worth it! So close to the village of Nendaz which had lots to offer. "Great Bear is a lovely chalet with breathtaking views in a unique environment. I cannot think of a better summer escape, given the stunning surroundings of the Val Hérens, the local cuisine, produce, meat products, and delicious wines. The chalet fits the rustic character of the tiny village perfectly, while affording the necessary comforts for an Alpine stay. Absolutely LOVED IT!!!"

"The house was a bit small for a group of 7. I can't imagine 9 people. The WiFi password would not work and it seemed the LAN cable for connecting to the internet was missing. We had to use our mobile data the whole stay. Other than that, it was fine and did the trick to house our group for 2 nights."

"The stay at hotel taeschof was great. The cleanliness of the room and the facility is spectacular. The facilities are very well maintained for an older building. We spent two nights and left refreshed after three long days of travel. The staff was efficient and helpful after we had checked out we had to return as my wife had forgotten her watch. The young lady at the desk immediately went to our room and came back with it. We're traveling by train and the hotel is at the edge of the bus and train station property very convenient when dragging luggage. Our room was on the side of the hotel away from the train tracks and there's some noise from the trains leaving and arriving but we adapted to it quickly and did not disturb our rest. Overall a great stay in a beautiful place."
