Like most older homes in Bisbee, this home is quaint with several modern updates thoughtfully made by the previous owners. A covered screened porch greets guests as they make their way back from the adventures of the day. As you enter the home an eclectic blend of modern meets vintage. The kitchen provides all you need to prepare a 4 star meal... if you brought along, or are a 4 star chef. Keurig, toaster, microwave and Cuisinart cookware will help make your stay more practical. Both bedrooms are equipped with a full bed each. Not a queen. Both beds are full beds. The beds came from Aunt Cissie's boarding house out of Kokomo Colorado (no longer in existence). Aunt Cissie's sister, Helen, was the mother of Clarence Malley, a one time Police Chief here in Bisbee. The bathroom features a granite countertop and a walkin shower, sorry no clawfoot tub, but just as effective. Can be a bit noisy at night but I got used to it.Be forewarned… the front door locks automatically. There is a warning on the checkin info. But it is far too easy to have the door shut and lock behind you. I locked myself out with my phone containing the lengthy door code inside. Lesson: print the code out and leave a copy in your wallet or car or both until you get it memorized. I borrowed a phone and VRBO customer service was able to get me back in.As the name implies there is no WiFi or television.I look forward to staying here again. ##### Don D. It advertises that it has two queen size beds. It actually has two double beds so that did not work as well for us. The blinds in the back room are not room darkening. Home is a peaceful place just outside the main drag. It is an easy walk, and since Bisbee does not get nearly as hot as Phoenix in the summer, a pleasant walk. I would suggest a new Keurig coffee maker, as whatever button is pushed; it makes one big cup of coffee, so have a second mug handy to avoid spillage.
