The apartment, newly renovated, is equipped with every comfort, and consists of a large living area with crystal table and smart TV, two large double bedrooms both equipped with wardrobe and desk, a single bedroom plus a children's bed 0 to 5 years, two bathrooms both with shower, a kitchen with coffee machine (Nespresso), kettle, oven, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher and a cellar. On request it is possible to add an extra single bed. In the whole apartment there is the super fiber wifi to surf without limits at high speed. The area is really quiet and is only 10 minutes from Piazza del Campo, easily reachable on foot with the escalators of S. Francesco. Below the house there are: bus stop, supermarket, bank, pharmacy, tobacconist, church and gym. The station is only 1km away and is well connected by bus or reachable on foot in 15 minutes. What makes the apartment unique are certainly the two panoramic terraces of 100sqm which offer an incredible spectacle. The views of the Basilica of San Francesco and part of the historic center of the city of Siena are enchanting, and offer a unique place to relax, eat or taste a good wine offered by us! ENGLISH VERSION A few steps from the historic center of Siena, the apartment is located in front of the Basilica of San Francesco and only 200m from the escalators which bring directly to the city center. The apartment, just renovated, is located on 4th (and top) floor of a building (WITHOUT elevator) and has 2 amazing 100sqm terraces which offer a unique and unforgettable view of the city, in particularly of the beautiful Basilica of San Francesco. The spacious living area is made up of a living room with sofas, tv, crystal table and a large kitchen with every accessory including washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine. The sleeping area is composed by 2 large double bedrooms and 1 single bedroom (plus a cot for children from 0 to 5 years old). There are also 2 bathrooms, both with shower, and a cellar on the ground floor for storage, or bike / motorbike garage. Close to home there are: bus stop, bank, pharmacy, supermarket, tobacconist, gym and church. Just outside the walls of the old city, you could either hike up the hill to the center of town or ride the escalators up. The location is fantastic, just 5 minutes walk to the city wall, with free parking close by. The apartment is perfectly set up for a family or two couples, quiet and very comfortable. The host was beyond welcoming, kind and generous, meeting us on arrival and even providing generous breakfasts and snacks for our whole family, a lovely bottle of delicious wine, and advice throughout our stay. The kitchen is well set up for cooking, including spices, olive oil. Plus comfy beds, great towels, good wifi. And the most spectacular view from a huge terrace - breathtaking both at night and in the morning, We fantasized about moving in, and living surrounded by such beauty. We could have lived for months at Attico San Francesco, in a daze of gracious living. A grocery store below the apartment offers quality goods from pre-made lunches and dinners to basics for breakfast. The apartment has a wonderful view of Siena from outside the walled city, with easy access for all able pedestrians via escalator into the heart of the old city. A binder at the apartment offers guidance for sights, dining and local points of interest. All basic and many additional thoughtful amenities are provided, from a really generous array of breakfast goods & snacks to washer / dishwasher / blackout shades to shower & personal grooming accessories (good shampoo, etc.). Communication with Maria Rosario and Alessandro was easy and fast; Alessandro kindly picked us up at the train station which made our travels so much easier and nicer, then helped us carry bags upstairs, no small feat! This was a perfect location for us to stay in Siena with a car. We could explore Siena easily from the location. It is an easy walk to the escalators taking you up to Basilica San Francisco. From there an easy walk the rest of the way to Il Campo and the rest of the inner city. One may find it hard to leave the apartment with the stunning views and double doors opening to the terraces and fresh Tuscan air. We enjoyed our wine, salami, and cheeses while watching the moon set over the city. The apartment is well appointed and comfortable. It can easily accommodate two couples and another single if needed. The beds are very comfortable. You could make your own meals in the well equipped kitchen. Plenty of snacks provided as well. We were well attended to by Alessandro for any needs and guidance in Siena and around Tuscany. The location provided a perfect center of Tuscany to visit surrounding areas such as Montepulciano, Pienza, Florence, San Gimignano, and a nice drive through the Tuscan hills around Chianti. We would emphasize as in the description that this is a 4th floor walk up. For anyone with limited mobility or difficulty with lots of walking, it may not be the right spot. If you like walking and exploring the sights of one of the best Italian cities, and relaxing in a quiet neighborhood with glass of wine in hand, we would highly recommend. The patio is stunning- The perfect place for morning coffee, a relaxing break in the afternoon, and a glass of wine while admiring the stars. The location allows easy and quick access to central town via the escalators at San Francesco. Tons of delicious restaurants are walkable from the apartment. And we loved the convenience of the grocery store (2 minute walk). In addition, Alessandro and Maria are incredible hosts.
