The lake is very near and has a spectacular view. We were able to enjoy the sunset at the lake. The kayaks were In very good condition and a cart was available to move the kayaks to the lake. Hammocks, swings, a fire pit, rocking chairs BBQ stand all added to the outdoor fun. I feel a change of mattress in the master bedroom is needed as the current mattress sinks you down in the bed. I would definitely take advantage of it. It was so peaceful at night sitting out under the stars on the patio. We also took advantage of the fire pit the last night. The general store they had came in handy for a few items we forgot! I loved the special touch of having it! We will definitely return again when we can find the time! The bed and pillows were comfy, slept great every night. We enjoyed the fire pit and absolutely had a blast driving the golf cart!! SO worth it, don’t miss out on that. We parked it off the trail at the top and walked down to the beach which was the best! Weather was great and our dogs had a blast ( they smiled the entire time 😄). Charter fishing was terrific! Pack your coffee, fishing rods, beach chairs and towels and prepare yourself for the most relaxing fun times!!! We didn’t get the canoes or kayak out but they’re a great option to have! The cabin itself was very clean and comfortable. The only issue was with the electronics. The TV, internet service, and stereo system were marginal at best. The TV ran off the the internet which was sketchy. It did not work most of the time. We could never figure out how to get the stereo system working.
