One inside the garage and the other right in front of the cabin. There is also a shared parking space available as soon as you turn into the neighborhood, but please note that it is first come first serve for anyone in the community to use. We recently added a NEW tankless water heater to supply endless amount of hot water for our guests. This allows you to run up to two showers at a time, and have plenty of hot water for everyone in your group to shower consecutively. Please note that the tankless water heater can only supply unlimited hot water for two showers at a time. If you turn on a third shower or have any other hot water in the cabin running, the temperature of the water will drop to warm. Please note that the outdoor furniture, BBQ, and the firepit is stored in the garage during winter months to protect it from the rain/snow. Guests are still welcome to use it when needed. AC: This property has portable AC units in three of the upstairs bedrooms. There is also a house fans that will help cool down the property in the evenings. Heating: There is central heating and a gas fireplace in the living room. We found everything we needed in the well-stocked kitchen, and the beautiful decor helped us relax in the evenings after a full day of skiing and boarding at China Lake. We were just a few minutes away from restaurants, markets, a gas station, and beautiful hiking trails. The people of Shaver Lake are wonderfully friendly and welcoming. There were 9 of us, ages 10 to 69\. The home was beautiful, clean, and had a well-appointed kitchen with plenty of pots, pans, utensils, etc. The grill outside was clean and ready for our use. The bedrooms were spacious and had comfortable beds. When we weren’t sharing a meal or working on a jigsaw puzzle in the house, we were hiking or hanging out at the lake. Some went fishing, others paddle-boarding, and the rest of us hung out enjoying the beautiful, cool weather. Bottom line is that we would be happy to stay at this property again some day! ##### Jamie P. Dec 3, 2024 #### Holiday Retreat We enjoyed our four nights at the condominium. It was clean and had almost every kitchen item we needed, including some items we forgot. The decor was homey and welcoming and we appreciated being able to bring our two small dogs without any fuss. We were also able to readily contact Stormy about last minute guest changes and a hot water issue, and she responded very quickly, even on a holiday. The one improvement I would make would clearer online descriptions of the property—we were looking for a cabin that wasn’t so close to others, and this was in a condo complex with a balcony view of major roadways. But, that reflects my last minute planning and lack of communication—if I’d been more specific, I’m sure Stormy would’ve been told me.
