If you like Motel 6 you'll love this place. This place is not well kept both inside and out. If you're okay with that then this is your place. Small details like my faucet not screwed down and the toilet connections not connected to the wall. No ice machines working. I could go on but it would just be complaining. Smokers all sit at the front door to greet you. We were just passing through Destin and wanted to stop and see the area. It's a beautiful area. When I come to stay long term it won't be here.

The hotel overall was good. I traveled with my husband and our 15- and 10-year-old children, and we had a pleasant stay. The valet staff were extremely kind, helpful, and welcoming. However, the valet service is also quite expensive at around $80 per day. The ladies who took care of our room were VERY very kind and attentive as well. The restaurant staff were REALLY wonderful—very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Unfortunately, the food itself was just okay. It wasn’t bad, but for a hotel of this level, we expected better quality. The most disappointing part of our experience was the beach chair service. We found the chairs to be quite old and honestly very uncomfortable. The cost is around $80 with taxes for the day, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., which felt too expensive for the quality and comfort provided. Unfortunately, the young attendants working at the beach were also far from friendly or helpful. What bothered us the most was the way the seating was assigned. Instead of allowing guests to choose from the available chairs, they seemed to decide where they wanted to place you, regardless of where you preferred to sit. The way this was handled felt unnecessarily unpleasant.

Perfect location great staff and tons around to shop and dine

Beach view / beach access pretty all the room had going for it. Outrageous price for the quality of room. Definitely paying for the out the back door beach front. Room had damage to many things. Very dated. And having to pay for beach chairs after paying the high price poorly cleaned rooms, disappointing. I have a disability and have a disabled parking permit. Usually someone in the permitted parking spaces with no parking tag. No one managing that. Only on pack on coffee in room and wanted us to pay for more coffee. We love Destin though. Maybe have some type on incentives to justify high price. Like maybe having beach chairs as part of the rental.
