A very attractive property, in particular in terms of spaciousness and the privacy of its sleeping area. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, make this the perfect home for accommodating groups or families. The apartment is housed in the same traditional, recently restored Sevillian house as Mateo Gago I. This means that you would be able to book the whole building, thus affording accommodation for up to 14 guests. Perfect for that long-planned family get-together in Seville; or for providing your guests with a luxurious place to stay if you are planning your wedding next to the Guadalquivir... Everything is possible! High ceilings, marble floors, large windows looking over the winding and lively Mateos Gago street, plenty of natural sunlight throughout the day. Plus a wealth of details and high quality materials which really make this place. The entrance leads directly into the living room, a very bright, open-plan room divided into a living area, dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. Attention to detail means that modern furniture sits alongside antique pieces and a colourful selection of rugs and other textiles, a veritable mix-and-match winner. The sleeping area is separated from the living area by a hall and comprises three spacious bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and separate heating and air-conditioning facility. The master bedroom has two double beds, bedside tables and a built-in cupboard. The décor is serene and muted, perfect for a good night’s sleep in a cosy setting where the wooden headboards match the bedside tables. The bathroom is modern, with designer fittings and a rainfall shower. The second double bedroom is likewise simply decorated, with two single beds with side furniture and a built-in cupboard. The third bedroom also has two single beds. Both bathrooms have marble floors and marble tiled walls, with metal and glass fixtures, designer sanitaryware and a rainfall shower. The forth bedroom is situated one level up together with a bathroom and the large sunlit terrace. The Mateos Gago street is much visited by tourists, providing a crossroads between the historical centre and the Barrio de Santa Cruz. It is home to numerous tapas bars, stately homes, historical buildings and flamenco venues. The communication from the host was excellent. clear instruction before our arrival, met the host at the apartment, and on one occasion - which was a Sunday- had to contact them and they replied within 5 minutes. Location was perfect for us as everything was within walking distance. I would highly recommend staying here especially for a big group. A few points to remember when booking, - due to location of the property, taxi can’t drop you off at the apartment so you have to walk -especially if you have luggages - this was mentioned in the information leaflet which was sent to us before our arrival. - it does get loud at night as there are many restaurants open till late and the apartment is a minute walk from the Cathedral - a popular spot. - there is no lift so if you have any mobility problems/heavy luggage/stroller- stairs might be an issue as you have to climb 4 flights of stairs. Our only issue was noise from the busy restaurants below but by about 10:30 at night most of that that was pretty much gone. The location otherwise is outstanding with the Cathedral and the Royal Alcazar just a stone’s throw away, and the narrow, twisting streets of the historic district all around you to explore. We especially loved the amount of space so that everyone had their own room and bathroom. Incredibly close to all restaurants and tourist spots. The location is absolutely the best you can hope for. Center of the entire city....and it is truly walking distance to everywhere you want to go. Im from LA, and i hardly walk anywhere...so, for me to say this...its really walkable to anywhere you want. The property is also great! every room has its own bathroom which was the BEST! It looks like it was newly renovated because its very clean and new! Communication with the host was quick and they are very accommodating. Make sure you have whatsapp because this is how they communicate with you. If i have to be picky...the only things you need to pay attention to is the lack of an elevator in the building. SO, if you have mobility problems. It was NOT a big deal for us, because the building was not that high, and we are young and fit. When we arrived, our host helped carry our suitcases up the stairs too....very cool. We visited during mid july, so it was hot...and at first, the AC took a while to get cold, and on the first day, it kept tripping the circuit breaker. But after the first day, it miraculously fixed itself and never powered down. The AC was adequate the rest of the stay. Other than that... this is a great unit and we enjoyed our time here. Even my wife said, this was the best VRBO stay of the trip. (we went to 8 cities in 1 month in Spain.) The host was very good too and helpful all the time. 5 stars! ##### erick p. The apartment is easy to get to, and is on the main street lined with cafes that leads to the cathedral. Great dining is just steps away. Despite that, it is quiet inside and there is almost no noise with the windows closed. The rooftop is a lovely place to hang out, and even has a shower to cool off with. It is well decorated, clean, and in good working order. I would definitely recommend this apartment to family and friends visiting Sevilla! ##### Christopher B. It would be impossible to stay in a better location. Beautiful apartment with a lot of space and privacy but yet in the middle of everything.
