On the main level you will find vaulted ceilings and a stone gas fireplace. A fully stocked kitchen with island sitting for 3 people and dining room table that sits six people. Enjoy complimentary high speed 800 mbps wi-fi, 4K Roku Smart TV’s in every room - Use your personal login for any streaming service and you are all set! USB chargers in all bedrooms. At the end of the day enjoy the hot tub on the lower-level porch or spend your evening sitting out by the backyard firepit with several chairs so you can stay warm near the outside firepit.. Self-check-in, door code will be sent to you before your arrival along with directions to the cabin. Check-in is 4PM Check out is 10AM The road leading up to the cabin will change to gravel/dirt for about 1000 feet, it will then change back to paved road until you get to the cabin, where it will have paved driveway and parking. Just like with any home, there are times appliances (including hot tubs, which are appliances) can break. We are not responsible to provide a refund if an appliance breaks, to include hot tubs, refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, toasters, coffee makers, blenders, washer/dryer, etc. We will have the item fixed or replaced as quickly as the maintenance specialist can get there, but please do not ask us or VRBO for a refund. We value our maintenance team and they work hard to remedy appliance situations as soon as possible. All TV's are streaming TV's. Feel free to log in to your personal streaming service providers. If the cleaners charge extra due to stained towels, sheets, or excessive cleaning, those charges will be passed to you. Please put all trash in bear bins. The hot tub is for guests 25 and over unless accompanied by a parent. Alcohol is not allowed near the hot tub. You are not allowed to use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or you are pregnant. Use the hot tub AT YOUR OWN RISK! Do not throw anything except toilet paper into the septic system. Any other items could clog septic system and you will be liable for repair. \-Fireplace is available only from October 1 to April 30 as any other cabin in the area. \- All guests should be aware at all times on the decks. Children should be accompanied by an adult while on the decks. \- Absolutely no fires inside the cabin or anywhere other than the provided fire pit when outdoors. Unauthorized fires (including candles) will be charged $100 plus damages. \-Cabin is located in the woods. There are wildlife in the area including bears. Take appropriate precautions. We have routine pest control; however, on occasion you may see a bug. \-Power outages are rare but they could occur. We have no control over this. We do not have a back up generator. Should this occur, please enjoy the authenticity of cabin life and it should be on shortly. \-NO REFUNDS for weather events, natural disasters, power outages, or other things that are beyond our control. Guests are encouraged to purchase travel insurance for coverage. Relatively small expense for peace of mind. Just so guests know we supply a starter roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, dish soap, a roll of paper towels and a few trash bags. If you go through all of the starter supplies, it is the guest’s responsibility to purchase more for the rest of their stay. There are also plenty of supermarkets and convenience stores around to purchase your supplies and grocery items. The grill is an outdoor park style charcoal grill, (guests will need to bring their own charcoal) There is a ring doorbell located on front porch facing driveway and front steps. Easily were able to get to zip lining and white water rafting. As with anything in the area, while you're only 10-15 miles away, it takes about 35-45 minutes to get to where you are going because of all of the backroads which is also part of the adventure. The only downside was the view. We visit the Smokies two times a year and we always pick our cabins based on the view. Unfortunately, they were not that great. It may be different in the winter but there was very limited view of the actual mountains. This is in no way a negative review but something future visitors who really want a good view may want to be aware of. ##### Bea J G. There are three levels to the cabin, which could comfortably accommodate a large family or possibly two familes traveling to the area together. There are a couple of other cabins in the immediate area, but the property still provided a sense of seclusion and privacy. The cabin is beautiful and had everything we needed! The kitchen is stocked with all necessities needed for cooking meals. We enjoyed the hot tub & an evening cooking s’mores out by the fire pit. Bret & Melissa are amazing hosts! They are quick to respond to any questions! The location is great! You have privacy with a mountain feel, while not being too far from town. Highly recommend this cabin! My kids are already begging to return! ##### L B. Séjour de 6 nuits en juin 2024 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Kathy C. 8 nov. 2023 #### Lots of stairs and safety concerns We enjoyed our time at the property, but there were several things that need to be addressed. We didn’t realize just how many stairs there was in this cabin. Two sets to get to the front door, another set to the main living area and another set to the loft. Also, future renters need to realize that only one bedroom has an adjoining bathroom and the loft doesn’t have a bathroom at all. The main issues were the rickety stairs outside that you have to use to get in or out of the cabin. The boards were very loose on several steps and my husband even fell down them one morning. The railing on the upper deck was also very loose. The railing and stairs definitely need to be addressed for safety measures. The final issue was cleanliness. There was a lot of dust and we even found cereal under the furniture in the living area. Obviously hadn’t been properly cleaned. We had to go buy cleaning products to clean and disinfect upon arrival. The air filters looked as if they hadn’t been changed in years. ##### Kathy C. It is the perfect location close to the parkway but out away from the madness! We LOVE staying at RWL! The owners are so very easy to communicate with and so kind! We had an amazing time at this cabin!! The private road leading up to the cabin was very easy to drive, rain or shine and with only 3 other cabins on the road it was very secluded and peaceful. Check in and out was beyond easy. The view from the wrap around porch on the main floor was amazing. Everything worked and was very clean. There was an issue with the grill on site prior to our arrival but the owners had reached out days ahead of time and had a new one placed as promised. Great people, great location. House was beautiful and clean. The kids had a great time playing pool and hanging out in the hot tub. Hosts were great and responded back quickly. Séjour de 3 nuits en novembre 2022 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Jahnna V. 14 oct. 2022 #### Not for us Pros - Great fuzzy blanket Good internet connection for work Smart TVs Reasonable commute to PF Fire pit in the rear, but we had to remove the ashes Good supply of cookware, other than the can opener that was worn out Reasonable parking area for multiple cars Cons - Gravel driveway 100 yards - not good for the motorcycles we brought HVAC - unbalanced, downstairs was cold and all extra heaters needed to be on Hot water - undersized, ran out Provisions - only one dishwasher pellet left and only 1 roll of paper towels for a 4 day stay Cleaning crew - not cutting it, a wrapper was upstairs, bath mats were dirty (grass/dirt), cob web in the main window, ceiling fan was coated along with the top of all beams, and hanging fixtures were dirty. A dog was always running around outside, and there were barking dogs in the area Railing and deck are aged and not 100% secure A strange guy walked around the outside of the house with a flashlight and this was startling to my daughter The access panel to the water tank in the basement was open and not safe for kids ##### Jahnna V.
