We can occasionally allow for early check-in and will let you know if cabin is ready prior to 4pm. \- Cabin is on a well, but has a top-of-the line filtration system for all water coming into the home. \- Aluminum foil, condiments, zip locks, and charcoal are NOT provided. \- NO FIRES inside or out. Unauthorized fires (including candles) will be charged $100 plus damages \- Although we RARELY see bears, there is a super friendly neighborhood dog who may stop by and greet you to ensure your having a 5-star stay. He is a very sweet boy, but if you have a fear a dogs this may not be the best fit for you. \-This cabin is in the mountains so cell service may be spotty. \-There may be some twisty roads. \-This cabin is in the forests/mountains, so you may see bugs or critters. We do our best to maintain the cabin with regular pest control, but due to the surroundings, if doors are left open, or if food is left outside, this can attract critters. It was located close to many attractions and food but still gave that secluded cabin feel. We loved the hot tub and trying to catch fish in the pond! The host was quick to respond to any messages. Very clean! Hot tub was great! Only complaint was roads to cabin are narrow and winding and especially dangerous if dark and raining as it’s hard to see curves at bottom of hill. My 15 yo son is a fisherman and loved catching some bream off of the porch. The hot tub was perfect. The cabin was pretty clean and had everything we needed. It's a short drive to the Pigeon Forge parkway for all of the fun things. It is tucked into the hills and drive is very curved but that's what the experience of staying in the mountains is all about! ##### Brittany W. We lost hot water during our stay. The owner knew right away that we had probably ran out of propane. Just a couple of miles from the parkway so we could take backroads wherever we wanted to go and stay away from all the parkway traffic. Cabin has everything you need in the kitchen to cook or grill. It was nice having good cookware. I had noticed in other reviews dogs barking and gas running out. neither of those were an issue. The bed is really high and the stairs are not for someone with bad knees. Besides that, Place is great and host is super responsive and helpful. We did have an issue with not having hot water and reached out to host who responded right away and had cleaners come out to help us. The problem still didn’t get fixed and still had cold showers. The cabin only had a few pans to cook in which could be fixed. The neighborhood dog is super sweet he came by almost every night. ##### Miranda S. It’s refreshing to be able to vacay away from home without any hiccups! Our check in, stay, and check out was seamless. We didn’t have to ask for anything, as our host had already sent us a detailed list of things to know about our stay. Our host did check in and make sure all was well throughout our stay, which we appreciated! 10/10 would recommend this listing to any couple or small family! The property was extremely clean and tidy. Highlight of our stay was my husband catching a fish from the balcony. The fact that the host left fishing poles for their guests was a nice touch! While the place was clean and nice, and yes I knew the bedroom was upstairs. I didn’t realize how steep the stairs are. Very hard with two fake knees, with no bathroom upstairs. Thankful for the twinkle lights strung upstairs, so I could see when getting up at night so I didn’t knock myself out on the beams on my side of the bed.
