I chose the cabin for its location – close to GSMNP while avoiding the traffic near Gatlinburg. The location is perfect for those exploring GSMNP. We had the shortest drives ever to Cade’s Cove, Meigs Falls, and The Sinks. We took two separate day trips to the southern end of the park, including a visit to the Museum of the Cherokee People, hiking the Deep Creek Waterfall Loop, and driving the Blue Ridge Parkway to Waterrock Knob. Each day, we returned to the cabin in time to relax in the hot tub and go out for dinner.The host was welcoming and attentive to our pre-trip questions. Instructions were clear, and we had no reason to contact them during our stay.The cabin’s rustic charm, along with modern amenities, made it very comfortable for both of us. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed. The cabin photos accurately depict the spaces and facilities.We highly recommend it for anyone looking to escape into nature and recharge. Awesome place for a getaway. Absolutely spotless throughout the whole cabin. Location was perfect with easy access to the National Park and restaurants. Had a bear pay us a visit on two days of the trip. The owner was always accessible and when we had a little internet problem he fixed it right away !!! It is really relaxing sitting in the hot tub and looking at the mountains !
