Check in time is after 4pm est and check out time is 10am est 2\. This is a Non Smoking cabin. Smoking is permitted on the deck, please discard cigarette butts in the proper place. If this rule is broken and we have a problem and need to remediate there will be a 250.00 fine to pay for such remediation. 3\. Minimum Age requirement - We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent. 4\. \*\*Payment – We require a 50% deposit to reserve your dates and the remaining 50% due 14 days prior to arrival. Otherwise, half will be due upon signing the contract and half 30 days prior to arrival. The advance payment will be applied toward the cabin rent. 5\. \*\*Cancelations - A thirty (30) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 30 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. 6\. Quiet Time – Quiet time is between 10PM and 8AM. If this quiet time is abused you may be asked to leave the cabin. Please respect your neighbors. 7\. Maximum Occupancy- The maximum number of guests is limited to ten (10) persons with six (6) adults’, maximum. 8\. This property requires a two (2) night minimum stay. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods. If a rental is taken for less than two days, the guest will be charged the two-night rate. 9\. Inclusive Fees - Rates include a one-time linen-towel setup. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate. 10\. No Daily Maid Service - While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate however maid services are available at an additional rate. We suggest you bring pool/hot tub towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units. We loved that it felt safe, being in a gated community, and secluded, yet just a ten minute drive into town. We loved the big deck, and the nice view. We loved that all three bedrooms were upstairs together, and each had its own jetted tub, shower, sink, and toilet. The pillows need to be upgraded, but the beds were very comfy!! The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed, (the can opener wouldn’t work), but we would’ve loved an empty cabinet to store our snacks and groceries. The large jetted bathtubs were great, but the walk-in showers were really small. I liked that there were no clear views of other cabins. Very spacious, beautiful front porch to relax and have a cup of coffee. Walt was very responsive and very helpful. A couple of things I will point out are that for some weird reason there were a lot of lady bugs in the cabin. In the bathtubs in the rooms and even on a bed. Another is that the main bedroom bath tub was leaking to the main floor and I was bummed that we couldn’t use it after 1 time. Nov 28, 2024 Liked: Check-in, communication, location #### could be very nice from outside very beautiful first impression very nice bedrooms are very small toilet rooms and shower are very small I am 6'2" and 280 and could barely move in the shower the beetles were about to take over Windows needed to be washed inside and out very few cooking utensils and kitchen linens were very stingy it could be a very nice place but needs a lot of TLC the very small I am 6' ##### Jeff H. The cabin was as described but could have been prepared a little better. We found items from the people that stayed previous to us and cob webs, both inside and outside. We enjoyed our stay at Moose Manor! The cabin was just perfect! Great location and the front porch swing and chair were so serene! The hot tub was amazing too! Each room had its own jacuzzi and was wonderful. Beds were also comfy. Owner was timely responsive! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Trip had a few kinks right off the bat but all was quickly resolved within an hour of arrival ! Walt was absolutely amazing and ON TOP OF EVERYTHING! the cabin was so homey feeling , it might be in a gated community but you really feel like you are on your own ! do make sure you keep and eye out however as we had a young bear hang out with us on the porch for almost an hour , one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen ! Sep 22, 2025 Liked: Check-in, communication, location Disliked: Cleanliness It needs a total, thorough cleaning: old cobwebs on the chimney box, dust layers on baseboard, porch hasn't been scrubbed and swept for a long time. It wasn't anywhere near the cleaning fee. There was a neglected broken chair on the deck. Needs labels on light switches. Broken fan blade on ceiling fan at stairway. Top of fan very dusty. One smoke detector was down without a battery. The oven had a defective door seal and it was very difficult to get the oven up to baking temp. Limited kitchen cookware.
