It was fairly clean. The towel situation was disappointing - for a cabin that is hosting 8 people, we got exactly 8 tiny, thin towels. We couldn’t soak in the hot tub and then take a shower. This cabin is very dry - bring a humidifier. The temperature was locked at 72, and even after we contacted management to possibly adjust it for us, it never was resolved. Finding the right key code is tough. You must be able to contact Avada properties to figure out what’s correct. I’m over 50 and not a fan of using the VRBO text to gain access to all information. But the response time via calls and texts was immediate. Also, the wifi didn't work initially but they sent someone the next day and got it set up correctly. This was a family vacation with 8 adults. The good:The layout of the house. Hot water was never a problem for 8Beds were alrightPlenty of space insideKitchen table, pool table, arcade game, couches, all pretty great shapeHeat was goodThe badThe refrigerator did us wrong. There is a note on the front of the fridge warning you to not fully load it all at once and not to make it colder than the recommended setting. In retrospect this sounds like they have had complaints in the past. Well we took the advice and did not overload it or mess with the temp.the first day it was fine. By the 2nd day you could tell the temp wasnt holding. By the 3rd day we determined the meat wasnt safe anymore. We threw away about 75 worth of meat.In addition the ice maker wasnt working. So we bought a bag of ice on day 1 and it slowly melted in the freezer. The Keurig was broken. the bottom needle was missing.I messaged the host on the first day about the issue with the ice maker not working and the Keurig. He responded quickly. He said he didnt have any reports of the Keurig issue and the ice maker is working. I responded that the Keurig lower needle is missing and its not working. I confirmed that the ice maker is indeed not working.He never responded back about this issue the rest of the trip.Dirty baking sheets and pansBack porches were pretty dirtyDirty Kitchen floors when we arrived.
