Guests should expect to drive on mountain roads. A 4WD or AWD vehicle/or tire chains may be required during the winter months in the event of snow or ice. \* Child Safety: The house is child-friendly but not child-proof. The property is not fenced, so children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times when outdoors. \* Housekeeping: Daily cleaning services are not provided. Guests will receive towels, linens, and a starter supply of soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. \* Wilderness Environment: The property is located in a wooded, largely wild area. Despite regular pest control, encounters with insects, arachnids, or other wildlife (inside or outside) are possible. Keep doors closed at all times, do not leave food in vehicles, and never leave food, leftovers, or trash outside. All garbage must be bagged and secured in the provided bear-resistant containers. \* Wildlife: Sightings of bears, deer, reptiles, birds, raccoons, insects, and arachnids are common and do not warrant cancellations or refunds. Feeding wildlife is strictly prohibited. \* Protect Your Travel Expense: Refunds will not be issued for weather events, fear of driving on mountain roads, changes in plans, or personal circumstances. The property was as described and interior was clean/well maintained. My only complaint: we were completely unaware of the steep driveway and it was very slippery with the rain/leaves. Short mountain drive into Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge ,if the hustle and bustle is your thing. Driveway turn was pretty tight for our F-150 pickup. The kitchen was spacious and nicely stocked for cooking in, with large dining table and“overflow counter seating. We enjoyed the hot tub, cozy for 4 adults. Plenty of sleeping space for large family, though we found the mattresses to be a little firm for our liking. Wifi spotty depending on your carrier- half the group had no trouble the other half wasn’t as lucky.Hoat was attentive and communicated clearly. We had 7 total guests ranging from 1 to 65\. The kids enjoyed the games while at the house. The kitchen is stocked well for cooking. Plenty of towels in the bathrooms. The drive way is steep so be cautious. The only downside was you could hear everything so once the baby went to bed we all had to be very quiet- down to hearing phones vibrate from different floors.
