This is a modern-rustic cabin nestled in the woods, surrounded by peaceful trees and the soothing sounds of nature. Inside, find natural wood finishes and a crackling fireplace, inviting you to curl up with a good book and unwind. Outside, fresh air and the beauty of the great outdoors at your doorstep. We are conveniently located right between exciting and action packed Pigeon Forge and the peaceful Wears Valley and Townsend region. Skip the traffic and access a lesser known entrance to Great Smoky Mountain National Park, with a shortcut to Cade's Cove, in under 10 min. Or travel the other direction and find the thrilling coasters of Dollywood and Pigeon Forge, just 12 minutes away. If you choose to stay in, cozy up to the outdoor wood burning firepit overlooking the seasonal creek or gather around for family board game night. You may also choose to shoot some pool or play one of the two arcade games after soaking in the hot tub on the back deck. If you venture out, all Smoky Mountain attractions are easily reached from this traditional cabin with no steep roads and level parking for 2 or 3 cars. Please note this area of the mountain has poor cell reception. Starlink Satellite internet is provided. Smoky Turkey includes: \- Comfortable accommodations for up to 8 guests \- 2 King bedrooms, each on a separate level \- 2 Queen Sleeper Sofas , one on each level \- 2 Full bathrooms, accessed by the living space or bedroom \- Enormous double walk-in shower with dual showerheads \- 2 Decks with Hot Tub, gas BBQ grill, and several rocking chairs \- Wood burning firepit out back (pick up firewood in town ) \- Fully equipped kitchen \- Free Starlink Satellite Wi-Fi \- Pool table and arcade games in rec room \*Absolutely no pets are allowed \*No smoking of any kind in the cabin or on the decks "Smoky Turkey" is the perfect cabin for small families or couples looking to relax, unplug, and enjoy nature at its finest. The cabin is divided between two levels, each floor with a private bedroom with King bed and full bathroom. Upstairs you will also find a living room with leather couches, sleeper sofa, large screen Smart TV and DVD player, and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you would need to cook any meal. Downstairs is the rec room with a pool table, arcade games, board games and books, pub table and stools, mounted Smart TV, and a queen sleeper sofa. Out back, both decks offer a beautiful setting to enjoy your morning cup of coffee and your evening glass of wine (or shine). Continue down the back stairs to the yard overlooking the seasonal creek with a wood burning firepit. This is the perfect spot to roast marshmallows and enjoy the clear mountain air! Smoky Turkey is a cabin in the woods. This means you may see different critters including turkeys, possums, rabbits, and bears. We advise you to keep doors shut so these critters don't find their way inside. Also always lock your car and bring all food indoors. Be sure all trash always makes its way into the bear proof trash bins. NOTE: Because we are in the woods, Smoky Turkey has spotty cell reception but does offer Starlink satellite internet. You WILL be able to do internet searches, check email, make Wi-Fi calls, send texts, etc. All 4 televisions are Roku enabled, allowing you to access any streaming services you subscribe to. The front of the cabin is very quaint and looked very small, but once you open the door you realize just how large it actually is. There was plenty of room for my brother and I. 2 king beds were great. The master bath is amazing. The pool table gave us something to do in the evenings while we were winding down from the day. The hot tub on the lower deck has a privacy shield that helps block the view from the neighboring cabins. The only downside was the vaginitis of the cabin directly behind on the other side of the creek. The updated master bathroom/shower was GORGEOUS (has me looking into remodeling mine 😂). There are cabins nearby but we never heard a peep from anyone. The only con I can list about this sweet little cabin, is the fact that it isn’t the best for viewing the mountains/valleys due to it being up in the woods. Overall, I would book and stay at this cabin or any property listed with this host again. ❤️ ##### Breanne A. Our kids, ages 6-18, had a blast and were actually somewhat disappointed that we didn’t have more time “at the cabin” lol. Next time I’ll know not to plan so many activities and let them enjoy the cabin more. The WiFi is not great, but we didn’t mind being “disconnected” for a little bit. Our 3 teenage girls didn’t like it much but I secretly took enjoyment from that!😆 And waking up to 6” of snow the day we went home was the cherry on top!! ##### Tiffany E.
