« We had an amazing weekend here. The place was nice and clean and the host was very kind. The kids had a blast with all the toys and games available. I would definitely recommend to my friends. It was my first VRBO booking so naturally I was pretty anxious at first not hearing from them, but then once the check in information was provided, everything was nice and easy. « We spent 3 relaxing nights at this cozy cottage. It had everything we needed just to disconnect for a few days. Comfortable beds and pillows, a fire pit, Muskoka chairs on the dock, 2 kayaks, pet friendly. Alona is a super host, very easy to reach. The only issue was we were not able to use the washing machine cause it needs a special detergent and we didn't feel like driving to get a bottle just for one load. We’d like to come back this Summer. »

« We chose this cottage for our girls weekend and it was the right choice! The cottage was nice, clean and nothing too fancy. It was a great cottage for going on day trips because it's close to Bala. We mainly used the cottage to sleep, eat and hangout at night because it doesn't have a swimming area. The only thing I would mention is it doesn't have dishes, utensils or any other things needed to cook meals so make sure to bring everything you need for the kitchen. Otherwise, the cottage was...

« Our primary reason for this visit was for my children and husband to fish. They had so much fun fishing and spent each day on the dock. The cottage was perfect for what we were looking for and the animals and nature was a perfect atmosphere for us, we even encountered two beavers that wanted to interact and play. It was so much fun and we made beautiful memories there. Thank you Tom for being such an amazing host. »

« This cottage was the most beautiful beginning of our summer. We were able to enjoy the gorgeous lake while using the boats provided, as well as the spectacular docs. « The location is amazing, the pictures don’t do it justice. The locals were very nice and friendly members of my group had spoken to lots of people while on the provided boats. Henry was a great host and was very understanding and helpful with special requests with my group. Henry responded quickly and I have nothing negative to say about him or our experience as a whole. « Overall, the hosts were great. The place was modern and updated and very clean, everything was well kept and the property and the water were beautiful. On the location: I didn't realize from the pictures how close the neighbors are. It's like being at a cottage in the suburbs. « We visited in May 2024 when the weather was still a bit cool. It wasn't busy at all; there were only five cars in the parking lot.
