There is an iPhone in the unit which allows you to make local calls and receive calls from anywhere. The Complex: Laguna del Mar is unique – this Ocean edge condo boasts a much wider beach frontage than is normally offered, so the ample sitting/dining room area and master suite all offer expansive views of the beach and sea. This unit is a luxuriously equipped, three bedroom condo on the ground floor with direct beach access. There is a stunning infinity Cambia Quartz kitchen countertop, 146 bottle wine cabinet (bring your own wine!), 4 poster bed in the master suite and more. Two of the bathrooms have just been upgraded as of the end of 2019\. If that is not enough room, you can also rent our sister unit next door which is also a full three bedroom unit (go to Property ID 586988). The master bedroom suite has a four poster king bed, panoramic views of the beach and ocean and direct access to the magnificent patio. The guest suite has a King bed and the 3rd bedroom has two doubles. Both these rooms have beautiful views over the tropical gardens and lake. All bedrooms have large "Smart" flat screen televisions and ample closet space. There is a 75 inch TV in the living room. A full range of cable channels and /or Apple TV are supplied as well as Wi-Fi internet access. The sitting room has a large, ultra-comfy brushed cotton sectional and a roomy arm chair. The kitchen area really is something to behold with its infinity Cambia Quartz topped island, 146 bottle Sub-Zero wine cooler, stove, oven and warming draw, stand alone ice-maker and reverse osmosis water filters (no need for bottled water) and top of the line cabinets and appliances. It is fully stocked with all possible equipment. You can dine at the Cambria quartz island in the kitchen area, at the huge dining table or outside on the fan-cooled patio. From the master bedroom and the sitting room you walk straight onto a screened patio with sectional seating, dining and sitting areas. From the patio cross the silky sand and 100 feet later you can plunge directly into the crystal clear Caribbean. (The beach area immediately outside the condos are private and well equipped with private chairs, umbrellas etc.). The patio, which runs the full width of the apartment, has a comfy sectional sofa and ottoman as well as a dining table that seats 8. The renowned Cayman sunsets are visible directly from the patio. A perfect place to sip your sundowner whilst watching the sun go down. Exit the front door and it is a one minute walk to the secluded palm fringed pool, and then walk over the bridge to the private island inhabited by hundreds of the famous Island Turtles eager to come out and say “Hi!” (hoping for some bread, of course!). The tennis court is at the end of the parking area. Parking is assured for you and your guests. Security: Report after report records the Cayman Islands as amongst the very safest in the Caribbean. The condo was as listed. The beach area was nice. We took water shoes which helped with the rocks. By the end of the week we were able to maneuver easy around the rocks. This did not deter from our beach vacation at all. This complex was very quiet and we felt like we were in our own private retreat for most of the week. The pool was clean and also very private. You cannot get a better location, walking distance to seven mile beach and many wonderful restaurants. The absolute best part of his location is the private beach access right outside your back door. You will not regret this choice. John and his condo provide a first class experience. Waking up every morning to the beautiful sound of the ocean and grabbing a paddle board for an early morning adventure. It’s a slice of paradise. ##### Jessica V. It was quiet and there weren’t many people there which we enjoyed. It was in a great location and easy walk to food/gas station and very close to Camana Bay! Easy access to get the public transport as well. John is amazing and responded to every Question we had PROMPTLY. He was so welcoming and we will 100% be back here! You can’t get any closer to the ocean than this. To walk down Seven Mile Beach you have to walk around a sea wall and cut thru an outdoor restaurant but other than that everything was perfect. Upper end appliances and everything works. Outstanding management.. Very close to Camana Bay Outdoor shopping mall, not even a 10 minutes walking distance and Fosters supermarket. 10 feet from a patio and you are already in ocean. Beautiful, clean, well maintained and nicely remodeled unit in a great location. Wake up and sleep to views and sounds of the ocean each day, enjoy the beach right off the (wonderful screened) porch, and take the easy walk/drive to almost everything on the George Town side of the island. (Bonus 10 min to Airport). This condo has everything- fully stocked kitchen, lovely beds and linens, plenty of basics (tissues, TP, cleaning supplies etc.) and a wonderful owner who communicates well and really cares. Also provided was a full garage of beach tools and toys (paddle boards too). This was one of the best stays in recent memory. (I say this even though the beach was closed due to the recent hurricanes- the place is that good) One note, the beach does not “connect” year round to the rest of 7 mile beach, but you can catch it close by if walking on the beach is a priority. John’s unit is top notch in every respect! The only thing to be aware of - not a negative, just a fact - is if you’re looking for the full 7 mile beach experience out your back door, then recognize that this property is situated just a little too far south for that. Getting onto the long stretch of beach requires a short (.25 mile) walk north along the sidewalk to the public beach access. That said, the location is also super convenient to a number of great shops, restaurants and the Camana Bay area. Photos do not do it justice. It's beautifully decorated with all necessary amenities and more. The kitchen is as well stocked as my kitchen at home! My husband and I own similar luxury short term vaca rentals in the US so we understand this business model and WOW\~ this condo is on point. The location is perfect on the amazing 7 mile beach. There are plenty of restaurants, grocery stores and shopping within walking distance or no more than a 5 min drive. John was a fantastic host and very responsive.
