Kitchen whilst compact, has good quality appliances & equipment. There are lovely walks from the doorstep but this visit to Stainforth we ventured up Whernside one of 3 peaks & enjoyed a wonderful sunday roast at the Knights Table after to rest our weary legs. Everything we needed was available in the barn and the kitchen utensils and cooking equipment were of high quality (unlike some other properties we’ve stayed in!) Internet access was excellent and although no phone signal was available, WhatsApp calls meant this wasn’t a problem. Despite unseasonably cool weather we were cosy and warm in the barn. There was plenty of information about local services and places to visit. The owner, Carol, was very helpful and even provided a welcome pack with essentials and some nice treats as well. Overall, we had a lovely stay and wish every rental property was of such a good standard. Thank you Carol. ##### David Renshaw
