Zzzip was possibly the best introduction to hostel living that I could have ever had as a solo female traveler. To start, Jina and Bryan were excellent hosts--very welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The rest of the staff were also super kind, and one of them even helped me with figuring out the laundry. I stayed in a private room, which was conveniently furnished and had a nice, spacious bathroom. You can feel right at home with the TV and A/C. For the more extroverted travelers, the common areas provide a great space to hang out and plan excursions. The breakfast area was well stocked with the essentials, and guests can even store food in the fridge for some time. Regarding location, the shops and tourist spots of Hongdae are extremely close. You will get a mix of both local small businesses and the more recognizable chains. In my opinion, there's so much to do in this area that you will get FOMO or decision fatigue no matter what! I would definitely go back to Zzzip if I get the chance.

朝食ついての料金は非常に安く、比較的駅には近いので便利でしたが旅行者利用には向いていない。洗面とか使いにくかったし、寝具とかも枕と薄い賭け毛布だけで少し臭いがあり、使用しませんでした。 明洞からは電車利用だと直通ではないので乗り換えが面倒でした。

It’s my first time in Korea, zzzip guesthouse gave me a great experience here. Very clean lovely room, the host is super nice. Location is good, 5 mins by walk to subway station. Everything was perfect, I will definitely comeback again.

The atmosphere is excellent. The rooms and common area small, however very efficient and welcoming. You can sit out and read a book, sip on coffee or a beer and chat with others. Really enjoyed the hosts and the lovely group of other travelers. The location is excellent. The hosts do a great job of helping the travellers have fun, book things like tours and hair cuts etc. They also put together a nice efficient simple breakfast of bread, cereal, boiled eggs, peanut butter and jam. Considering this is a budget hostel - the Breakfast is thoughtful and filling.

Good vibes and beautiful friends!

Amazing hostel. Such good vibes, feels like home and the social atmosphere is next level. If you want to make friends to explore Seoul with, you will have no trouble rounding up a group for whatever activity your heart desires. Breakfast is next level, peanut butter AND soymilk, my two favorites! Jina and Brian are really helpful with giving advice and suggestions. Look no further, stay here!

Very good stay from start to finish with a personal touch and good social atmosphere. Good location in the centre of hongdae very close to train stations and restaurants. Private double room very comfortable.

中学校の正門のすぐ前だった。中学校の方を見ていて通り過ぎてしまった。朝食にパンとコーヒーやジュースやゆで卵があった。過ごしやすいと思う。

Quiet location and close to Hongdae. With no soundproof, it can get noisy with guests who stay past quiet hours. Convenient transportation to and from Incheon airport. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

本当は教えたくない！！

本当は教えたくないゲストハウス！ホンデも徒歩圏内だし近くにはおしゃれなカフェも沢山！スタッフの方は日本語堪能なので日本人は安心して泊まれるゲストハウスだと思います！

Nice place to stay near Hongdae

Friendly staff, nice and clean room, great location in Hapjeong (near hongdae, where is more quiet if you wanna get a freat night sleep) — love the location best cuz you can get to Hongdae, Sangsu (where has great food and music venue) and Mangwon (lots of cool small coffee shop around the area, while Mangwon market is also amazing— lots of delicious cuisine and vendors inside). And Jina and Bryan are fantastic hosts for sure! Super nice and helpful!

Good location close to Hapjeong metro station. The owners were very friendly, especially Jina! She gave me and my friend hot packs before we went to the Pyeongchang Olympic Games; those were needed! I can recommend this guesthouse :)

Great location and easy to find

The hosts Jina and Brian are incredibly lovely and helpful. The subway station is a few minutes walk and you are within walking distance of a convenience store for quick handy purchases. There is a Korean restaurant about a 1 min walk from the guesthouse and it is beyond delicious. Although it says it's a hostel, there is a 11pm noise curfew so it's also suitable if you aren't into partying every night and staying up late. But the surrounding area offers more than enough night life for every night of the week. Take note though if you are over 30, many of the clubs will not let you in! Bars are fine though and do not have age limits.

Great Stay!

The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating! I was able to check in early and check out late. They were super helpful with recommendations, and though they live in a residential neighborhood (this means no partying at the hostel), they are also very close to a party/university area. The rooms, showers, and bathrooms were extremely clean and cozy. Definitely will be going back go Zzip next time I'm back in Korea! Thanks again, Jina and Brian!

合井駅から近い

駅からは徒歩5分 ちょっと暗いが、許容範囲内 途中にコンビニもある 駅前にはパリバケ、キムパッ天国、オリヤン等、 いろいろな店があり、困らない 部屋は1人なら十分な広さ テーブル、イス、広めのベッド、壁掛けテレビがあり、 スーツケースも床に広げられる (大きめなスーツケースだと、 床が埋まっちゃうかも？) 二重の窓もあるので、換気もできる バスルームは、広め と言っても韓国式なので、 結局便器やトイレットペーパーは濡れますがね 唯一困った点… チェックインは23時まで でも到着便が遅かったわたしは残念ながら間に合わず… ゲストハウスのレセプションに手紙が貼ってあって、 それで中に入ることはできたが、 連絡先のLINEは、送っても最後まで既読にならなかった… 本当に困ったときはどうしたら良かったかしら… あと、タオルは直接受け取るタイプで、 次の日早めに用事があったわたしは、 8時にレセプションに行ったが、 ゲストハウスの人がまだおらず… 8時半過ぎに取りに行って、やっともらえた これからはタオルについても、 質問しなければと思った しかし、 トータルではとても居心地の良い宿だった！
