The room was not well isolated, we could not only hear the outside noise but also feel the air coming in from the window. The room was not in the best possible condition (the floor carpet was coming off a bit, the coat hangers were not very solid...) but the bed was clean and we were given towels. The shower had hot water and no cold water. For the price, it was perfectly fine. Don't expect to be in the best Hotel in Seoul for that price! With shopping, restaurants and nightlife for all. Hongdae is a short walk away and with the metro station, the whole city is within easy reach. Room- the official pictures to advertise the room are slightly misleading. The size of the room is accurate to show that it is a small room. However, the lack of cleanliness is can not be overstated. There was mold in the room and bathroom which they tried to cover up with foam wall paper. The first room I was assigned smelled of smoke. And after requesting a different room, it had a smell of mildew. Additionally, the walls are thin. So you can hear the other visitors on the same floor walking and talking. Lastly, this hotel can be rented by the hour and used as a “Love hotel.” Staff- unwelcoming, and nonchalant. Understandingly, they were probably college kids, but there seemed not to know of customer service. Overall, This is a budget hotel. I would not recommend this to anyone.
