"I would book there again, Staff were friendly and did accommodate us when we wanted the exercise room opened a few minutes early than posted. Some equipment could use a refresh. The rooms were well-kept and clean and the AC worked fine. The breakfast was fresh with a broad range of options. The view over the shoreline are great and there is a little beach nearby (although not really usable due to the seaweed this year). "The room was clean and spacious but a little dated. There was a waterproof sheet underneath the main sheet which was a little uncomfortable to sleep on as it kept wrinkling up in the night. The room had a kitchenette but no plates or cutlery and only tiny tea cups so we had to ask for these. It was nice to have a fridge and kettle though. The staff were mostly really friendly and helpful. The pool and surrounding area was nice but lots of seagulls flocked around there and frequently pooed in it so we’re not sure not clean it was. We both ended up with bad colds after a couple of days of swimming in the pool so we expect it wasn’t very hygienic. The sauna was very cold and therefore not a proper sauna. The gym on the other hand had no air conditioning and was really hot and felt quite dirty. We had a couples massage at the spa which was lovely and very reasonably priced. We also got given recommendations for local restaurants - Tasca 26, Quirinos and Olivalmar were all really good. The dinner buffet at the hotel was basic and rather disappointing. The beaches nearby were nice but you do have to walk to them. There is a cool tunnel in the rock to walk through from the closest beach to the next one and that is a nicer beach to swim from. Overall, it was a satisfactory hotel but not as nice as the photos or description implies."

"We had a lovely stay A car would be ideal for supermarket runs etc. nearby coves only a short ride away and we used Ubers for going out in the evening in Carvoeiro. Pool is great with undisturbed views. We stayed in a few nights and had a takeaway as well as a BBQ. Only small negatives were the downstairs bedroom and games room were musty initially but improved after the doors were opened. There were a couple of sun beds that ideally it would’ve been nice if they’d been replaced."
