"What a joke! Expedia "overbooked" us at another unit. So, this cabin was the apparent cabin we were "upgraded" to due to the mix up. Expedia advised me they had spoken to the owners to guarantee the cabin was available. Well, guess what? When we arrived at 4pm with our tired children, melting food and tired feet, there were three men in our reserved cabin. They began to tell us they had this cabin for another night. It was booked!!! "The host has thought of everything. The high speed internet was great, so working remotely from this property was a breeze for all the guests. Lovely big screen TV in the living room . Every conceivable pot, pan, bowl and utensil were provided in the kitchen. There are only 4 parking spaces permitted per Big Bear city regulations. Be sure to check propane levels on the outdoor appliances you plan to use, they may not be full completely full."

"The house has everything you can imagine from kitchen spices, kitchen utilities to a massive amount of lake toys. There is room for everyone to congregate in separate areas; even with their own music to different areas!! (Sonos I believe it was called?) Fishing from the docks was a memory our families will reminisce for a lifetime. The lakehouse at inspiration point is truly enchanting. We can’t wait to come back!"

"Very nice cabin, clean and inviting. Staff were excellent with directions and support. I would recommend Cool Cabins to my friends. The only thing to improve is the stove and oven. Seems like gas lines are not sufficient as it took a long time to bake in oven and had to turn stove up to 7-8 to cook anything. Everything else was awesome!"

"This lovely property provided us a quiet and peaceful escape from the city. The historic feel of the property adds to its overwhelming charm. The location is perfect as it's tucked back in the bay but still offers amazingly beautiful views. There are plenty of stairs so if mobility is an issue this might not be the place for you. We loved that there are bedrooms on every floor so we could spread out for some privacy. The beds were comfy and the solitude of the outdoors made sleeping comfortably easy. Big Bear has so many activities available and this cabin was close to it all. I would love to visit again on a future trip and spend my time on the patio gazing at the lake and its surrounding wildlife. (We spent quite a while photographing a heron nesting in a nearby tree. Spectacular!) This cabin feels like home and I'm grateful we got to spend time there making memories with our family."
