Stay away

The hotel is extremely dirty and this is not a 4 star hotel. If you’re looking for somewhere clean and a bed to sleep on, this is not for you. Dirty carpets, dirty tables just terrible. Left my booking earlier just because we couldn’t take it any longer.

Pleasant stay

Good affordable hotel, friendly staff. The rooms are depending on the view, smaller and or larger in sqm. The AC works a bit slow, shower and room facilitt is good. Better than standard. The breakfast is somewhat okay, not the top of the bill. But that makes sense because of the price. Friendly staff overall we had a pleasant stay

All staff were very friendly. The hotel is only walking distance to Citraland shopping centre, Ace hardware and Hospital.

Superb pool, lovely room, lousy breakfast

I stayed in Louis Bandanaran before,... that’s why I booked this at Simpang5. Becos I like their sky pool so spectacular. Room has even better view overlooking the whole Simpang 5 park. Modern, clean small room (no bath tub though). Everything perfect except 1 drawback : it has the smallest breakfast area (around size of 2 rooms combined) I have ever experienced from other many hotels in Semarang. Then of cos the choice of food is so limited. Sub-standard breakfast.

Wifi Super Slow, Louis Kienne is located strategically on one of main road in Semarang and it is a skip from the heart of the city (aka Simpang Lima) - an excellent location for your stay in Semarang. The guest service is standard. Check in process is unenthusiastic

Thin wall & Hidden Charges

Overall stay was full of disturbance, the room given to me has connecting door inside, and apparently the walls were so thin that I could hear when someone was talking next door. First night, two guys. Second night a group of family with kids that was really noisy that I couldn't sleep. they would arrive late at night and the kids would make screams and noises, completely ignoring that it was almost midnight! Also, I would like to complain regarding this booking that has charged an extra 300,000 ,- which actually was a room guarantee that should not be submitted to the bank - I tried to contact the number listed but the phone is not being registered - I tried to find the website but also fail. is this some kind of scam?

The stay is good. The place is rather new which makes it cozy and clean. Overall I will recommend it to my family and friends.

Good location, but no efficient reception staff

The staff of reception is not qualified, as they cannot handle busy situation, and not polite to customers waiting the room. Even we arrive the hotel in time, and cannot get the room soon. We almost wait one hour just because the excuse "room is still prepared!!"

Good hotel in the center city, easily accessible

The safety deposit box wasn't working. It was already locked; can't be opened. Need more supply of bathroom roll; when called front office for it, it took a while for the housekeeper to bring it up. Other than that, everything else was pretty good and staffs were very helpful.
