The staff were all really great, we wanted to head to the beach so they let us stay past check out time at no charge and set us up with transfers for our next destination. Only thing that was a real bummer and we didn’t stay long because of it is there is no A/C in the rooms and they are very hot and muggy, my husband was dying and didn’t get much sleep and the restaurant was closed for Ramadan and there were not many other options around. Vorab: Das Personal war außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit, was die Atmosphäre sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Allerdings müssen wir ehrlich sagen, dass wir uns bei der Buchung hinsichtlich unserer eigenen Ansprüche etwas verschätzt haben. Wer als Backpacker unterwegs ist und eine einfache, rustikale Unterkunft sucht, wird sich hier sicherlich wohlfühlen. Für uns persönlich entsprach der Standard jedoch leider nicht dem gewohnten Komfortlevel: Schlafkomfort: Die Matratzen waren für unser Empfinden leider komplett durchgelegen, was erholsamen Schlaf schwierig machte. Sanitäre Anlagen: Das Badezimmer befindet sich im Außenbereich. Das hat zwar einen gewissen Abenteuer-Charme, allerdings sind die Armaturen bereits stark verrostet, was den optischen Eindruck und die Handhabung trübt. Lage: Ein wichtiger Punkt für zukünftige Gäste ist die Distanz zum Strand. Dieser ist wesentlich weiter entfernt, als es die Beschreibung vermuten lässt – ein kurzer Spaziergang reicht hier leider nicht aus. Fazit: Die Lodge ist ein toller Ort für Reisende, die wenig Wert auf Luxus legen und das einfache Leben lieben. Da wir jedoch einen höheren Standard bei Betten und Ausstattung gewohnt sind, war es für uns persönlich nicht die ideale Wahl. Nous avions vu une émission télé sur les propriétaires de l'hôtel et leur projet de s'installer à Lombok et comme nous étions dans la région, nous avons choisi le Tiki Lodge. Nous n'y avons passé que deux nuits car notre programme nous faisait ensuite changer d'île mais nous aurions pu y rester bien plus longtemps. Les chambres et les salles de bain sont magnifiques, le jardin et la piscine ainsi que le restaurant sont parfaits. Quant au personnel, nous avons adoré l'accueuil. La nouvelle manager Becky et son équipe étaient vraiment très serviables et aux petits soins. Nous reviendront très probablement !! They provided drop off to the airport, they also provide Mortor bike rental and have been very nice to us for our whole stay. Eine liebevolle kleine Anlage zum entspannen. Alles ist mit ehr viel Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet. Dort kann man in der Anlage einen Roller mieten und den ganzen Süden Lomboks erkunden. Die Besitzer gaben uns viele hilfreiche Tipps und erfüllten uns jeden Wunsch. It is a beautiful facility, with a wonderful staff, and was more affordable than more upscale options in the area. We were happy with the only 15 minute walk to the popular surf spot, Selong Belanak. The onsite restaurant is very good, too, with different creative specials daily and a delicious breakfast included. Highly recommend renting a moto (85k/day) and jetting 15-20 minutes out to nearby more remote beaches. A few inconveniences affected our experience a bit- limited wifi, (allows only a few users at once) no air con, and only a small fan in the room- with the mosquitos, we weren't comfortable keeping the doors open, so we were quite warm most nights (and this is just April.) Also, although credit cards are advertised as accepted, they would only take cash when we were checking out. Le personnel est gentil et motivé mais n'a selon nous pas été suffisamment formé, rares sont les personnes à comprendre l'anglais.
