However, the unit was very outdated. The bedroom was okay and clean but the rest was worn out, carpet was old, the faux leather of the couch had cracks and bare patches and some of the drawers in the kitchen were falling out. It smelled dusty and old even though Mary removed a rug that had a distinct smell. I honestly don’t understand how guests could have given this place a 10/10\. The host stopped by to make sure we were settling in okay and then was available if we needed them (which we didn't, as all was in order). The place as perfect for us. Although it was on 89A, the house was quiet and the view of the Red Rocks spectacular. There was a welcome book that included useful maps, suggestions for hike, a park hang tag, and other local information.
