The location was great, really nice outdoor space for watching nature go by. Clean lake for swimming and paddleboarding. There was some miscommunication with the real estate company that handles the property that was disappointing but did not ruin the trip. I also found that the letter I received ahead of the stay did not match up with what was in the binder in the cabin, the letter was very negative and the book much different. We both said that the bed was awful, would have been nice to have a comfy bed to sleep in at the end of the day and it would be good to give folks a little of a heads up about the driveway as it was not easy to get in and out of, thankfully we had a truck and SUV so was ok. Again, overall, we had a great time and it was a very nice property. Saw an eagle right over the dock and there seems to be a very cute family of minks living close to the water. In our case, our dog was with us. The cottage is small but not cramped and has just about everything you need to enjoy your stay. You walk out the door and are right at the water. Like a lot of ponds and lakes in this area, the shoreline is rocky, so there is no beach. You go down the stairs to the dock and then a ladder to the water. No problem for us. The swim area was sandy and quite enjoyable. The water is clear and clean. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and were able to just relax and recharge the batteries. ##### SHAWN W.
