Welcome to our beautifully updated and well-maintained property. It’s a rare find located in a secluded beach area, (South Seaside Park). Location, Location, Location… The cottage opened in 2022 and was fully updated and designed with comfort and efficiency in mind. We welcome you to come experience a vacation stay at the "Barnegat Bay Cottage"; the location is simply a gem! Our property is steps away from both White Sands Beach and Barnegat Bay (1 block from each), which puts you in close proximity to the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We are walking distance to some of the best local restaurants, offering a wide pallet of culinary options and live entertainment, such as: Chef Mike’s Atlantic Bar and Grill, Bum Rogers, Berkley Cut, Island Beach Fish Company, Ebby’s, and Jerry’s Pizza and Subs. Our guests literally can arrive, park their car, and never move it again during their entire stay! Want a little more to do? We are also walking distance to the Seaside Park boardwalk, which connects to the Seaside Heights Boardwalk. The boardwalks continue for miles, and provide access to mini golf, water parks, arcades, and rides; as well as a wide variety of restaurants and nightlife. We have plenty of local aquatic attractions (i.e. boating, sailing, wind surfing, parasailing, jet skiing, kayaking, crabbing, and fishing). One cannot forget to mention the very desirable Island Beach State Park. It is only 2 blocks away and is a 10-mile stretch of pristine beachfront, full of natural wildlife and walking / biking paths, just waiting to be explored. (Bring your own bike or rent one locally.) Make Barnegat Bay Cottage your home base and plan some day trips during your stay, (all within 45-90 minute drive), such as: Atlantic City, Point Pleasant Aquarium, Barnegat Bay Lighthouse, Smithville, Cape May, Six Flags Great Adventure, Laurita’s Winery, Lambertville, and New Hope, just to name a few. Visit other surrounding beach towns for an afternoon stroll, local shopping, boardwalks, or a stop for ice cream, (there are plenty of options within a 5–30-minute drive). This is a perfect location for anyone who wants to relax in the sun and enjoy a quiet evening in the neighborhood, yet close enough to bustling activities for families and adults looking for a more active vacation destination. Property Configuration Why should you book with us? Highlights: 2 Bedrooms / 1 Bathroom 2 Parking Spots / 4 Beach Badges / Outdoor Deck Our cottage is a townhouse style dwelling, which includes 2 bedrooms: Bedroom 1: King-sized bed Bedroom 2: Two (2) Full-sized beds Living Room: Full sleeper pull out couch This provides for a comfortable stay for 4 persons (with a maximum of 6). It is equipped with a washer and dryer, kitchen with granite counter tops, microwave, stainless steel appliances, full sized refrigerator, and an eating area for six (6), plus a living room and desk. Bed linens, towels and beach chairs are not provided and should be brought by the guests. In case this is a significant issue, kindly contact the host for alternate arrangements. The unit has a large common front deck area (shared with 1 other unit). Within the deck there is a designated area specifically for the cottage. There is a shared Weber BBQ on right side of the structure and a shared open rinsing area (to remove sand) on the left side of the structure. On the deck itself, there is a private outdoor eating area for 4-6 persons, as well as two (2) Adirondack chairs (perfect for watching the sunsets). These amenities are specifically for the guests of the Barnegat Bay Cottage. The property is approximately 1,000 sq. feet and is ideal for a single family with 4-6 members, or a couple looking for ample space. While the property does have multiple sleeping spaces, we limit the maximum capacity to six (6) persons at all times. We want your stay to be as comfortable as possible, and this capacity is designed with that in mind. Parking for two (2) vehicles is designated in front of the property; one vehicle behind the other. If you have more than two vehicles, they must be parked elsewhere. We offer a shared 50 Amp / 240V / 14-50 Heavy-Duty Receptacle for Level 2 EV Charging. \[Note: You will need your own Portable Level 2 charger to plug in to the receptacle.\] We are only hosting families and adult couples, and will not accept any prom, graduation, event groups, or third-party / absentee bookings. Therefore, the person booking the property must be 25 or older and must at the premises during the entire rental period. Failure to comply to these rules will result in an immediate cancellation of the booking, with no refund, and the guest must vacate the property immediately. Police assistance will be used as necessary. All house rules are clearly stipulated prior to booking. Smart Home Features: We are a "smart home"; we believe in technology and the ease that it can bring to our homes. As such, all TV are smart TV’s (basic cable + local channels are available) and High-Speed Wi-Fi is included. We provide free access to YouTube TV. Access to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Hulu, etc., is also available, via the guest(s) account. Each bedroom is equipped with a TV. (There are 3 TVs in total in the cottage.) The cottage has 2 exits with keypad entry for self-check in and easy access during your stay. Central Heat and A/C regulate the temperature throughout the home. We have a smart speaker in the house enabling you to play music. The furniture purchased for this cottage is stylish, comfortable, and sturdy. It was not intended to be disposable, but rather designed to fit the space and provide function. Bed frames are sturdy (made of metal), topped with highly rated mattresses and pillows, hoping to bring relaxing and comfortable sleeping nights to our guests. We offer a fully stocked kitchen with all your cooking tools requirements: dishes, cups, pots, tea kettle, serving platters, eating & cooking utensils, Keurig and drip style coffee machines, toaster, chopper, blender, baking items, waffle maker, etc. Lastly, since the house was recently updated, we have undergone a detailed home inspection, which means you can sleep with confidence knowing our property has passed rigorous inspections, meeting all city and state guidelines. If you are looking to vacation with friends or family but not share the same living quarters, we also offer two other units, which are on the same property, called "White Sands Beach Cottage" and "SSP Cottage". It was clean, had all the amenities, was a short walk to the beach, and the hosts Dean and Michelle were very generous and attentive. We could not have asked for a better place to stay at while enjoying an end of of summer vacation. We were able to walk to the beach and just a few steps from several very nice places to eat. We enjoyed relaxing at the townhome before heading to the boardwalks nearby for the rides and fun activities. The attention to detail in how the house is stocked was so impressive. Very short walk to the beach, 3 very good restaurants near by. Just to give some reference I haven't been to the Jersey Shore in over thirty years. And I remember it being extremely busy in the high season so we choose to have a last-minute getaway in April. After contacting many other owners who showed available but did not respond or didn’t want to rent for under 7 days. I found this property and was very happy that Dean was very responsive to all my questions and inquiries. We booked the property very easily and quickly. Everything in the description is spot on! It is an extremely clean, renovated home. The neighbors were very friendly as well. The location can’t be beat. Just a few minutes drive to Seaside Heights if you are looking for hustle and bustle and just under 30 minutes to Point Pleasant so we could visit more family. It was awesome to be just a few minute’s walk to the ocean and the bay and have 4 really good restaurants just around the corner. A big thank you to Dean & Michelle for allowing us to stay in this great property. We will definitely be back again! ##### Jennifer W.
