So group can all hang together or break up into separate groups. Bedrooms were nice - 2 on the first floor for those with mobility issues. 5 minute walk to beach off of U street entrance; good restaurants in walking distance. A couple things weren't working (dryer, shower in one bathroom) but I'm sure they will get fixed soon. They weren't issues for our group. I would have liked a mini-frig and toaster oven downstairs, but that's really the only thing I would have changed. Host provided excellent WiFi and Rokus (and more TVs in a couple of the bedrooms); we brought our own Rokus but nice that they are provided. We really needed a relaxing vacation near the ocean, and we got it. High marks. ##### Anne B. The ice maker failed and there was water all over the kitchen floor and the dryer didn't work. Vacasa never came over to fix anything, but they did give us a small credit on our bill for the inconvenience. All the wooden surfaces are sticky. Check in was easy, but the door lock code was 10 digits long. The kitchen had lots of dishes and utensils, but no empty cupboard to store our food, so we had to leave everything on the counters. The furniture is in bad shape. The lamp in the living room doesn't work. The curtains in the room with the king bed are so long and in such bad shape that it was very difficult to close them. We won't ever stay in this property again unless they do some major renovations. ##### Joan B. First, the overall cleanliness of the home was lacking. There were hairs and bugs in the sheets of one of the beds, and a used qtip on the floor of the bathroom. The internet went out because of a bad outlet, which we were told is a known and potentially dangerous issue that the owner hasn't had fixed. But after a few texts and phone calls, they sent someone out to clean. It was a wonderful getaway for our family Thanksgiving. Enough space so we could spread out, have some alone time, watch movies, play games, etc. Only a block from the beach so we spent a ton of time walking with the dogs. We were impressed by the kitchen amenities and various activities such as games, chalk, outdoor toys such as kites and bikes. The large house felt like home and we even utilized the outdoor grill and deck. Very short walk to the beach & a couple walkable restaurants/bars. Also, a very easy drive to both downtown Seaside & Cannon Beach. The house is definitely old & shows signs of wear everywhere, but was very spacious for extended family & having 3 bathrooms was very nice. My only complaint & reason I would not stay here again is the toilets. Every flush in every toilet was like Russian roulette, you never knew if it would flush, just spin, or not do much of anything. Also, 1 of the toilets was very hard to stop from running all the time. Upgrade all the toilets & we’d book this house again. ##### Shelley L. It was a time of healing, remembering, and enjoyment of being together. Very comfortable and well-equipped property, lots of room, and a great location helped us feel at home.
