Only a short walk to beach, this cute beach cottage has a living room with gas fireplace, cable TV and FREE WIFI. The kitchen has all cookware, dishes, microwave and coffee pot. The King bedroom is bright and cheery with windows and a skylight. The second bedroom has a Queen bed with a master bathroom which has a walk-in shower. The second bathroom, with tub/shower combo is off the hall accessible to all. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, this is the perfect retreat for a small family or couple. All bath linens and towels are provided, please bring beach towels for beach use. Charcoal BBQ provided. Parking for 2 cars; other vacation rentals are nearby as well. The parking was difficult for a full size pickup to access, I couldn’t make a very tight corner going to the rear of the house where we were supposed to park without backing up. This cottage was perfect for just myself, a stretch of days to reflect on the past year, and do a little looking ahead at life. It was easy to cook for myself (all the kitchen essentials are there), and walk to beach and to downtown Seaside. Communication with management was easy, courteous. And when I had to call with a minor issue with the toilet, the maintenance guy was there in 15 minutes to deal with. Though I was alone, the two bedrooms are fairly large, and two couples could comfortably stay together. The house is located on a very quiet street and within walking distance to a section of the beach that is not too busy, as well as the end of the promenade. My parents were unable to walk down to the main area of the boardwalk due to mobility issues, but it was just a short drive away. The main bedroom and bathroom were big and spacious; the second room with the ensuite was much smaller and a bit tight to get around, but we made it work for the 2 days we were there.
