This was an absolute scam. Nothing else to say about it. The man at the front desk attempted to charge me $50 extra PER PERSON, and refused a refund. I purchased a room for 4 people. He attempted to charge me 50 extra for everyone other than myself. We didn’t check in, submitted a police report, and went to a different location. You should not allow anyone else to fall victim to this guy.

Our room was dirty. There was a literal shoe print on the sheets, and an empty drug bottle as well as needle caps under the bed..

Bay Breeze is a bit of an older hotel and rooms don’t have every convenience, like a coffeemaker or hair dryer or tons of outlets. But what it does have is more important to me. It was spotlessly clean. A wood floor instead of those gross rugs. A shower with great pressure and super hot water. A lovely staff. The pool was very small but every clean and not crowded. The one issue I had was there was no ice machine. Having just returned from a walk we didn’t feel like going back out. Ten minutes later the manager was knocking on my door, bag of ice in hand. That’s the kind of place this is. It was clean, quiet and safe. Big tv, comfy beds and walkable to beach and boardwalk. Definitely recommend!

There was nothing to be liked in property, smell inside the room was horrible, Ac when started running was blowing a smelly air. Definetly will not recommend especially if you are with kids..!!

It is the shore. You get what you get. Bland places With bland rooms, plastic covered mattresses, early checkout times. The owner was quite pleasant. Beach passes and parking included. The price was fair.

The place isn't exactly the ritz, but neither is any of the hotels in seaside heights. Good quiet location just a couple blocks away from the boardwalk. Close to everything and is walkable. For an older property it was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Bay Breeze was a surprisingly decent hotel for Seaside Heights. The room was clean, shower/ bathtub was newer fiberglass type. Hot water worked well, bed was comfortable, good size tv and felt safe.

It was dark dingy and there was no hot water, which they told us that when we checked in that we had to run the water for a while!!! there was also no water pressure. We stayed for 15 minutes and then left. What a waste of $300.00. We would not sleep there the bed spread looked dirty. the overall feeling of this place was not good.

If you have reported to front desk he could have come and Shown you how to correctly operate the water valve. We have not heard any issue like this .

DO. NOT. STAY. HERE. SCAM!! Just save yourself the trouble. Not only are the rooms disgusting moldy and dirty, the owner is a COMPLETE psychopath. I’m still completely baffled by the situation. From the moment we stepped onto the property we were met with aggression and a disgustingly rude attitude from the owner. But it was 4th of July so we didn’t want it to get to us. We added an additional person to the room which we paid for. A family member stopped by our car to drop money off, and immediately the owner runs out YELLING at them that they can not be there and need to go. I understand that there’s a no visitors policy, they were not visiting !!! They didn’t even step foot in the room. Literally just in the parking lot for less than 2 minutes. At this point we haven’t even been at the hotel an hour, I come and try to explain that they are not visitors, just dropping something off and they’re leaving. Owner immediately goes NOPE he’s calling the police on us to evict us!!! WHAT? At this point we can’t even believe the reaction of this guy. So the police show up, we explain the situation to them, and they go “oh yea we deal with this guy all the time we’re always here to evict people for him for no reason” are you serious?? And you keep letting him?? We just grabbed our things and left and fortunately a nicer motel down the road was able to book us last minute. So basically DO NOT stay here unless you want the cops called on you for no reason and want your trip ruined! SCAM!

At the time of check in you have read the policies and you have agreed and signed the registration .After that you are trying to bring extra people to the room that is the breach of contract. We have tried to explain you but you were rude to the management person and used threatening words to him so he has to call police . As a welcome good gesture You have been provided free parking when you have arrived at early morning7 to 8 hours before checking. If you do not follow policy then you have to blame yourself.

Very nice place to stay
Was a little nervous having read some reviews but was pleasantly surprise upon arriving...the room was extremely clean & larger than I thought it would be...everything was clean & working fine...the pool is small but its just big enough to be refreshing..the hotel was quiet which was nice..and the manager/owner was extremely nice...we only stayed 2 days but will definitely stay there again...

Bay breeze was not as bad as the reviews I read but I’d agree it was an outdated location. The air conditioner isn’t positioned properly to cool the room as it is too close to the bed. The refrigerator isn’t as cold as it should be even on high but it works. The best was the gentleman at the front desk he was super friendly and professional. That makes a huge difference! I’d stay there again if I needed to.
