The apartment was clean and was just as the listing promised. We really appreciated the short and easy checkout instructions as it made the final morning stress free in getting out. The place was clean and had everything that I needed. Who is the Stonethrow to the park with quick access to both Bar Harbor and North Shore. Also a quick walk down to seal Harbor would definitely recommend anyone considering coming to the Bar Harbor and Arcadia national Forest area. There was also great access to Acadia National Park and the Park Loop Road and the Carriage Roads. The p\[lace was perfect. We would stay here again. ##### Dorothy L. In fact, it's possible to walk into the park from this location. The facility was immaculate, except for a slow draining sink in the bathroom. The property is an upstairs apartment and is very clean with ample amenities. The best grocery store options are in Ellsworth, so load up there prior to entering Mount Desert island. We enjoyed being apart from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor yet having easy access to Acadia. Your hosts make check in a breeze and are very responsive. We enjoyed cycling on the carriage roads, sea kayaking, exploring the coast line, and even spent time in Southwest Harbor at the Wonderland trail and Beal’s lobster shack.
