Welcome to the Boudin Capital of the world! This home is approximately 1800 sq ft, located just minutes away from Lafayette. Only 1 mile from I-10. Enjoy Scott Boudin Festival, Festival International, Mardi Gras, Festival Acadiens, Downtown Alive, ArtWalk, parks, iconic restaurants, and music. Plus, take a short drive to nearby cultural towns Breaux Bridge, Arnaudville and Grand Coteau.
The space
This newly remodeled home has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a fully stocked kitchen, spacious living room and laundry area.
Guest access
A door code will be sent to you with additional check in instructions. Guest have access to entire private home.
Other things to note
We thoroughly clean after each guest, including disinfecting all surfaces. Cleaning supplies, including Lysol spray, are in the house for guest use. The kitchen is fully loaded for cooking and serving meals. Wifi is provided and there is a large television with a Roku.
In addition to the standard items, we provide:

• Keurig and coffee pods, as well as bottled water.
• Detergent for the washing machine.
• Detergent for dish washer.
• Soap and shampoo in the bathroom.
• Microwave oven.
• Toys for the little ones.

The house was very clean and smelled good when you walked in. It was very roomy. We found most things we needed. We didn't spend a lot of time in the house. Some things to note: As mentioned in other reviews the bed in the master bedroom is very high. There is a step stool to help get in. You can actually turn the ceiling fan and light on and off sitting on the bed. There was a smell when using the showers. Since it was both bathrooms we all assumed it was the water but just wanted to point it out in case anyone thinks something is wrong. Also, the host does not contact you until the day of which is different than my experiences in the past. I messaged her and she was quick to respond. I was just initially worried something was wrong with my booking. This is not a negative, just to make a renter aware. Overall, great stay and would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The host generously supplied all the little things that make a trip more comfortable: kitchen items, toiletries, laundry detergent, etc. The house is older, but charming, and the location is a quick drive into Lafayette. FYI, not as many electrical outlets as we expect in a newer home, but not a problem really. Would definitely stay again!

This house lost stars due to a mediocre check in process that ended up taking 2hrs. Minimal instructions were given and when I attempted to contact the host, it was over an hour before an initial reply was given and about 2hrs before the problem was solved. The problem was the houses’ new electronic door lock. The numbers are only visible after touching a special button. I pity the person who has to figure it out if they check in when its dark.The 2 twin beds squeak when take a deep breath while lying in them. Last complaint is that your front door parking is also shared with some other body shop - that pulled up to the front door at 5am, which was not mentioned before booking. Overall it got the job done for a reasonable place to sleep and hang out with the family but there were many issues that i would caution myself from re-booking this place.

One night stay off I-10 on the way to Florida

We stayed overnight on the way to Florida. The house is cute . Beds are not the worst but not great either. We found a roach in one of the bedrooms “( the main issue was the water. It had a very intense sulphur smell that was awful . We were unable to shower which was not acceptable for the cost of the stay honestly. The host was apologetic and communicated well. Prob would not stay there again honestly .

An explosive experience

We had an amazing time at this gorgeous place. We went down to celebrate my brother's wife's 50th birthday and this place was perfect for us. No one has any complaints and that in itself is a plus. Loved the easy access and the cleanliness. Definitely plan to stay here again

Great Place in a small town

Great little place close to the interstate and grocery store without feeling like you're in the middle of everything. Super nice host. Only 2 of us stayed there, but a family of 4 or 5 could be comfortable there. I might stay there again next time I visit family.

Only reason we rented was for location, near a relative's house. Owner likes to use plug-ins and scented laundry detergent which is a problem for people with allergies. She did unplug the plug-ins but the strong smell is pervasive. The master suite's bed is so high it requires steps - dangerous and not desirable in a rental. While clean, the property has minimal amenities, including no ice maker and no ice trays.

We were so glad this property was available as we didn't book much ahead. The property was very comfortable & we felt very much at home. We were surprised at the height of the bed in master bedroom! Thank goodness for the step stool, LOL! Two things noted in the ad that were NOT present at the property: bottled water & Lysol. Some suggestions to improve comfort: measuring cups & spoons, night lights, TV trays and/or bedside/end tables, clothes hanging rods at both ends of shelf unit in master bedroom. The can opener as well as some cookware needs replacement. The oven and empty cabinets could use a little cleaning. Thank you! We WILL book again!!
