Spotlessly clean,off street parking and a pub just up the road. Hosts that are friendly and helpful, comfy bed and plenty of coffee and tea and a breakfast that is second to none. If you're stopping in Scarborough I can highly recommend this hotel.

Very happy, first but not last visit

Our stay was perfect, we over prepared for trip, they topk care of all our in room needs, staff always available to help but never in the way. Great fresh breakfast, parking a huge bonus and walkable to groceries and beach.

Lovely B&B

Lovely B&B within walking distance of the train station and city centre. Very quiet location. The room was very spacious and special treats with tea and coffee making facilities much appreciated. Nice friendly welcome at check in.

A lovely hotel

Very nice hotel roughly 15 min walk to the Spa where we were playing in the chess congress. Lovely room and excellent breakfast. Proprietors also very friendly and helpful.

B&B decorated beautifully. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was fantastic. You won't need lunch. Beds were comfy and it was quiet which we loved after a busy day. We are already planning to go back xx

Beautiful B&B, great hosts. Really close to the seafront and a fantastic breakfast. I’ve always stayed on the front with sea views, but would recommend this place as an alternative any day. They also have their own private car park

The staff were very welcoming informative and helpful. I was in the area due to work and the facilities were spot on . Plus the ability to refill refreshments which was a very nice touch as not many places do that. Definitely a hidden gem :)

The hosts were lovely and very friendly, breakfast was amazing, couldn’t fault breakfast, everything we asked for was cooked just how we like it, service was fantastic. Hotel itself was lovely, loads of added extra, the only downfall we had was the bed was uncomfortable for us and so were the pillows. But for a 2 night stay was ok. Location was good easy access for town and the beach. Would we stay again? Probably not because of the poor sleep quality. Hosts fantastic.

Superb Hosts and B&B

No problem parking. Effortless early check-in. The B&B is spotless and our room absolutely lovely. Breakfast is a must and one of the highlights of our visit. Quick check-out. We had a brilliant time and would absolutely recommend. Thank you.

Great 3 nights can’t fault anything The room was clean warm & furnished to a great standard Margaret & Stephen were excellent host didn’t have breakfasts as that’s part of our trips finding a nice cafe but wouldn’t have hesitated to order one the B&B is in a great spec so you can explore & enjoy scarbourgh If we ever go back we will defiantly stopping again👍👍

We stayed at Ashburton House for 3 nights. The Accommodation is beautifully presented with a spacious room with a large walk in shower which looked to have been recently refurbished. The room is clean and very comfortable with lovely decoration, a charming feel but with all the modern amenities. The beds are very comfortable and it was very quiet of a night. Ashburton House is very well located for the seafront and Town Centre. You won't be disappointed if you choose to stay here as the hosts provide everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay. We had a very lovely weekend, thank you.

Everything was perfect for us , not far to walk to sea front / high street shops , we didn’t have the breakfast at the property as not always early risers , we would definitely stay here again , a lot of places in Scarborough don’t have their own parking or if they do there’s extra charge and with hubby having mobility scooter the parking was essential for us .A big Thankyou to the lovely hosts , keep on doing what your doing , fantastic 👏

We booked for two nights after reading the fantastic reviews, and they weren’t wrong! We were upgraded to a family room instead of the double room we had booked, and it was beautiful. Lots of lovely personal touches, and immaculately clean. Breakfast was an additional extra, but definitely worth the few pounds. Highly recommend

First Class Visit

Another first class visit to Ashburton House B&B. An impeccable B&B with superb hosts Steven and Margaret. Plenty of safe and secure parking which is reassuring and a quiet location but only a short walk to the sea front or the town centre. Check-in quick and easy and we stayed in our favourite room. The rooms are spacious, decorated and furnished tasteful and practical. The rooms are a pleasure to come back to after a day out. Breakfast is outstanding and a truly pleasure to pick the variety of choice on offer. Thank you for being superb hosts.
