The property is just beautiful; the farmhouse is so cozy & quaint; the location between Dillard/Clayton, GA & Highlands, NC was so ideal for going to restaurants & shopping! We took advantage of hiking the property; fishing in the pond; building a fire in the fire pit and then had some fun at the Highland Outpost for some snow-tubing! Rachel (property manager) was so prompt in communicating via the app and was kind enough to allow us a few extra hours on our check out day to allow us to come back and change after snow-tubing! I can't say enough about this pristine farmhouse! We were looking for some downtime in the mountains and this lovely farmhouse exceeded every expectation! When we pulled around the drive revealing a stunning vista of grape vines with a mountain backdrop, I was hooked! Upon entry to the home I kept gasping "YES...YES....YES!!! Perfect!! So beautiful!! I'm never leaving!!" I almost don't want to share its existence, lest I try to book and it's occupied, because we will ABSOLUTELY be returning! Rachel is wonderful and attentive to work with, and the vineyard property where this home is nestled, is snap out of a romance novel. The beds were very comfortable, and the decor charmed throughout! I could tell great thought was in every detail. I just read my review to my husband who echoed my sentiments saying, "that is spot on", so there ya go... top reviews from both genders! The communication with Rachel (the property manager) was very easy and she responded very quickly to my questions. The welcome packet I received via email was great and gave a lot of suggestions for local tips and things to do in the area. The directions to the property were thorough and helpful. The Farmhouse was clean and decorated beautifully. We enjoyed sitting on the two porches, listening to the birds, looking at the vineyard, and eating some of our meals. out there. We walked around the vineyard and went to a wine tasting that happened to be scheduled during our stay there. The stars are beautiful at night and we enjoyed stargazing in the evenings. Our stay in the Farm House cottage overlooking the vineyard and events pavilion was both relaxing and engaging. It is situated on a beautiful NC vineyard which makes for a beautiful view at all times. It is well situated within the NC mountains with easy access to great hiking and great eating/shopping (Clayton and Highlands), but even in our downtime, the property was a fun to explore. The house was comfortable and a great stay for my family (2 adults, 3 and 5 year old). The kitchen could have been better supplied, but we can easily look past that because of how positive the experience in all other elements of the house. We found the cardinal! ##### Ben K. The cottage was perfect for enjoying a quiet Christmas Eve and Christmas day. We even had a white Christmas! Beautiful location in a vineyard with lovely view of the area. Well that didn't happen with this place! This little farmhouse and surrounding vineyard far exceeded our expectations. The house is DARLING and very comfortable. The surrounding vineyard is lovely and peaceful. The location is great- close to Highlands, great hiking and shopping. The Farmhouse cottage was very clean, charming, and provides a beautiful view overlooking the vineyard. We brought a camping stove and with the available fridge, toaster, microwave and hot plate, managed to make a few meals with no issues, . We enjoyed jogging around the property and hiking nearby trails. The porches were wonderful in the evenings watching the sun set over the vineyard or in the mornings for sitting with a cup of coffee while the kids played. The 15 min drive to highlands is convenient for shopping and dining. There was nothing we would’ve changed! Thank you again for opening up your beautiful cabin. ##### Mamie S. It was just what we were looking for and we were even able to bring our sweet pup Chloe with us! Between the pond and the grazing cows, she had quite the adventure! The property has amazing views. Cottage small but pretty, light and airy. We really enjoyed reading a book drinking a glass of wine on the porch overlooking the vines. Great host. The place was clean, cozy, and relaxing. We were surprised to discover that there wasn't a kitchen, but that was my fault; I simply did not read the description fully. Rachel was really helpful and got us a toaster oven. This place would be absolutely perfect if it had a full kitchen. As it is, it is an excellent place for getaway!!
