Built in 1861, this charming row home is located on a quiet street in the Historic District. This spacious one bedroom getaway is perfect for a couple looking to explore the rich history of Savannah, or a traveling single.

Enter your property via electronic lock, and forget the hassle of carrying keys! Stepping inside you'll be pleasantly surprised by the tall ceilings and the amount of natural light. The living room offers a plush grey sofa, arm chair and flat screen television, perfect for those who have their own Netflix or Hulu accounts! A dedicated dining space to enjoy home-cooked meals can be found just adjacent to the living room. Walking down the hall, guests will find the spacious and open kitchen that offers granite countertops, plenty of prep space and a full size washer/dryer thats tucked away. At the back of the home just outside of the bedroom, a roomy bathroom with vanity and shower/tub combination. The bedroom offers a comfortable king size bed, hotel grade linens and a television with access to stream your favorite apps. The private patio is just off of the bedroom, and is a private oasis perfect for a morning cup of joe.

This landmark home built for Noble Hardee in 1861 is perfectly situated to explore Savannah’s historic district. This fully renovated cottage has everything you’ll need to enjoy your getaway. The Honey Bee Cottage is in an excellent location-a short walk to Troup Square, the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist and historic Jones Street, voted one of the prettiest streets in the United States! A short drive or walk puts you on either Broughton Street or River Street where shopping and dining abound-it truly is the ideal location from which to explore Savannah.

Great stay

Great spot in a great location. Very walkable neighborhood. Very clean unit and great communication from the property management. My only complaint was some of the furniture wasn't super comfortable - the couch for example was not comfortable, it was fine but not the type of couch you could curl up on and watch a movie. The patio furniture was also not a place you could spend too much time without getting uncomfortable. Other than that, I highly recommend this unit.

The house could use a little update. Couch had a big drip in the middle. The side porch needs a good cleaning. The tub is tall and could use a grab bar to help getting in and out of tub.

Great Cottage With Wonderful Location

We absolutely loved this cottage! It was clean, had great accomodations, the bed was comfortable and the location was perfect. The neighborhood was quiet and only blocks away from points of interest. My only "complaint" was that the TV in the bedroom didn't want to connect to the internet much. So we watched Netflix and whatnot on my laptop in the bedroom almost every night. Other than that, everything was great and we hope to be back again!

This place was cute and spacious enough for the two of us. Great location for walking and biking downtown. Small courtyard was nice and kept the bikes out of the way and secure. Would consider staying again if tub drain is cleared so tub can drain and you're not standing in water while you take a shower. Side patio also needs to be cleaned as there is some visible mold.

NOT CLEANED PROPERLY

This would have been a very nice 5 nights except that the place had a VERY BAD ODOR of cooked fish. After notifying the management the person that investigated the odor found that there was a frying pan with oil and fish in it. He tried to spray for the odor and air it out, but nothing worked. The odor lasted from Sunday through Friday. The cleaners did not do a very good job. We found money on the floor of the walk-in closet and dirt on top of the fridge. This place was in a nice location and would have been perfect except for the above problem. Another problem was no measuring spoons, napkins, or Kleenex.

Great house and location. Needs a new bed.

We stayed in this house about 5 years ago. We decided to stay again on our honeymoon since we liked the house and location so much. Then the bed had a new super comfortable memory foam mattress. I believe 5 years later it’s the same mattress. As you can imagine it was not nearly as comfortable. This great house needs a new bed.

The Best Management Company

Lucky Savannah delivers superb service, particularly appreciated by this elder. Live humans are available most of the day, everyday, they replaced a chirping smoke alarm immediately & check out via text is a breeze. The cottage was as advertised. It is on the same block as the Beach Institute. A quiet neighborhood close to more active parts of the city.

The condo was perfect, you can’t beat the view. We felt safe and the surrounding area offered plenty of restaurants and bars. The state parks were good and the Mardi Gras in St Andrews was perfect. We will be back to Panama City beach.

Nice couple’s rental in Historic District

Super clean, quiet street, comfortable king bed, couch was a little stiff, is about a 20 minute walk to the river. We walked all around the historic district and found that walking was the way to see downtown. Free parking on the street but not reserved for the rental.

Savannah get away

We had a great stay at the Rose Cottage. Very clean and comfortable space that is within walking distance to everything and easy to find free street parking right on our street. The management company is also excellent and the hospitality app is a must download for some helpful info about your stay and the area. Would highly recommend staying here. Only suggestion would be to add some plastic cups to the cupboards so guests can take drinks to go with them.

Perfect location for R&R Race!

This location was perfect for the Rock & Roll race series. We were able to walk to the start and from the finish line. We were able to do pre race runs through downtown. It was far enough away from the popular areas, so it was quiet. Yet, it was close enough to walk or have short drives. Cute cottage with everything we needed.
