With this incredible listing, your group will be staying at both The Lyons House and the Carriage House, located at the same address and connected by a gorgeous private courtyard! The Lyons House is a beautifully renovated townhome from 1893, that seamlessly balances traditional architecture with modern and sophisticated artsy touches. It showcases exposed brick walls, one functioning electric fireplace plus four decorative, traditional high ceilings, oversized windows, detailed millwork, gorgeous hardwood floors, and elegant crystal chandeliers. Balancing the old and new, you will find posh and contemporary artwork made by American and international artists in this entire home. Here you can count on a chef\`s kitchen with new stainless-steel appliances, including a French-door refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and double oven range. In addition, a Keurig coffee maker, a blender, toaster, and all cooking essentials needed to prepare and serve your meals. We loved the patio, the bar, the way it was decorated and the location. We walked to almost everything during our stay and the beds were all comfortable. We rented both the Lyons House and the Carriage House for our group. The properties exceeded our expectations for grandeur, cleanliness, well-thought out items to make our stay comfortable, including a Welcome basket filled with treats and beverages. Besides comfortable bedrooms and multiple bathrooms, this property was conveniently located in the Historic District. Shopping was only a two minute walk away, the Riverfront was eight minutes, Telfair was seven minutes, and City Market was a ten minute walk. We have stayed in Savannah multiple times and this by far was the most convenient to restaurants, shopping, museums, and other sites. A parking pass was supplied for our Suburban vehicle at a City Garage one block away. A garage was available for a compact car on the property. We enjoyed the outdoor courtyard with a large table with chairs for the main house and another table for the Carriage House. Our group enjoyed cooking breakfast in the well appointed kitchen, visiting and watching TV in the beautiful living room, playing board games and eating in the dining room, sitting at the impressive bar enjoying drinks. The Carriage House is very modern and luxurious. The Hosts were attentive, easy to communicate with, and obviously took great care to make sure our stay was comfortable and memorable.
