This property's location between East Liberty and East Oglethorpe puts it right near many interesting places. Probably the top one is Colonial Park Cemetery, which is just a short walk to the west down East Perry Lane. This historic cemetery opened in 1750 and became the final home to many of the city's earliest residents. In 1820, many victims of yellow fever ended up in this cemetery. The cemetery was closed to new burials before the beginning of the Civil War. It now has the appearance of a stately park with Spanish moss dripping from the old oaks. Not surprisingly, it's also a hot spot on many of the ghost tours in Savannah. If you're really brave, at least one tour will take you through at night!

If you head to the north of this property, you'll find more historic squares in the form of Oglethorpe Square, Columbia Square and Greene Square. The Owens-Thomas House and the Gutstein Gallery by the Savannah College of Art and Design are also in this area. To the south of this property, you'll find the amazing gothic architecture of the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist, as well as the Andrew Low House Museum and a few more historic squares. Although you can definitely walk to places further away, you may wish to enlist the Old Town Trolley Tour or Chatham Area Transit to get to River Street on the north end of the Historic District and Forsyth Park at the south end.

Tybee Island is an amazing and idyllic spot that is small on land but big on adventure. Relax on the Atlantic beaches, then take in some cute beach shops and then explore a few of the waterfront restaurants. Tybee is an easy day trip if you just want to soak in rays and saltwater. However, you can also make it just as adventurous as your Savannah excursions. Tybee offers a bevy of things to do, from ecology marsh walks, watercraft rentals, fishing and much more. Whatever you do, you won't want to miss the two main attractions in the Marine Science Center and Tybee Lighthouse. You can find the latter on the north end of the island and the former on the southeast side. Tybee is easy to walk around, or you can rent a bike and see the island that way. The options are endless.

Southern Belle Pool
Our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located at 19 Silver Ave, Tybee Island, GA 31328. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island.
The Pool is open during the below dates and times.

March 1 - Oct 31: Open 7 days a week from 10am-5pm.
Nov 1 - Feb 28/29: Open Friday and Saturday from 10am-5pm

Additional Pool Hours available during the off-season are listed below. If these dates fall in the middle of the week, the pool will be open as listed below and every Friday and Saturday.

Guests with Pets
This property is not pet-friendly. If you're traveling with a dog, ask us about our pet-friendly properties that accommodate up to 2 dogs (50 lb combined weight max) for a $130 pet fee.

Long-Term Stays
For our long-term stays, 30 days or more, we require a deposit and our office will reach out to you for details. For these reservations, we require an additional cleaning at a cost every 30 days. The cleaning cost varies by property. Our office will be in touch to schedule.
