Atop the original grounds of Trustees’ Garden, you will be just minutes away from the Riverwalk, Washington Square, dining, boutique shopping, and the many museums the downtown offers. SVR-01488 The Space: This home was built at the turn of the century and combined the popular federal design with aspects of antebellum and colonial styles. Beautifully kept through the years, the home still features original wood flooring, an original (non-working) fireplace, and original hand-crafted crown modeling. Built on the grounds of the original Trustees’ Garden, this historic area of Savannah has played a significant role in Savannah’s history. First as an experimental garden, then as various military forts and Ironworks, and now as an incredible combination of beautiful venues. You are genuinely staying atop Savannah’s history with a stay at Avery's Cottage.
