Vaulted ceilings, wood beams, and a stone surround gas fireplace all add a touch of charm and character to the spacious great room. Windows spanning the back of the house provide tons of natural light and perhaps a sighting of local wildlife. The fireplace in the center provides both a beautiful focal point for the room as well as a much-appreciated source of heat during the cooler months. Each of the four bedrooms (two on the main level and two on the upper) have private ensuite bathrooms with custom tiled showers, luxurious mattresses and linens, smart TVs, and an abundance of natural light. The walk-out lower level has an expansive entertainment room with plush sectional sofa, large TV, pool table, ping pong table, board games, and bar area. A separate room has an air hockey table, PacMan game, and an XBox console for the gamers in the group. A private hot tub illuminated by twinkling string lights is just outside the door on the deck stepping down to a patio which features a gas fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs for all to gather. Guests have access to a covered pavilion with fireplace and charcoal grills as well as dock entry to private Mays Lake for fishing and kayaking. Just a short drive away are 10 incredible wineries, miles of hiking trails, and downtown Helen —a whimsical Bavarian-style village filled with unique shops and restaurants Whether you’re a wine lover looking to sample some of the local vintages, an outdoor enthusiast looking to explore the great outdoors, or simply looking to relax and unwind with friends and family in style, you’ve found the perfect spot to call home during your stay in the area. You will not be disappointed with the home and many things to do within minutes. Only a few miles from Helen, several local wineries or nice hiking trails.
