We had one issue with the hot tub, but we called the property manager and it was fixed by the following morning. Cabin is perfect for a couples long weekend. And the views are marvelous. Oh, and the sauna and hot tub, also on the deck, is a real plus. Just a note, if you plan to bring wine or alcohol be sure to bring your own glasses. Only problem we had was the grill did not cook our food and the fireplace area was leaking because of the rain. It did damage a few of our item because of them getting wet. We got notified of early check-in which was a nice surprise. The hot tub was clean and working properly. The pool table was a nice touch and the tv offers all apps plus cable channels. The bed is comfortable, although the sheets were a bit scratchy. Clean bathroom with good water pressure in the shower. The toilet handle gets stuck so water will keep running unless you pull it back up all the way. The checkout instructions stated that we needed to wash and put dishes back in the cabinets which was surprising since you can usually just leave the dishwasher running before checking out. Beautiful view from the deck. Good location to Helen or hiking to waterfalls. Only con about property is no recliners in living room (just a personal preference) couch appeared new but not really comfortable for lounging watching TV. A prior review complained about pool table being worn, however table and sticks must have been replaced because they appear new. Outdoor fireplace on the deck was perfect for those chilly nights. Sauna takes a few minutes to get temps up but very relaxing when they do. Go from hot tub to sauna and it's great. Grill is small but mighty. 2 taters and 2 ribeyes with room to spare Nice view from back deck. Water feature in the bedroom is a nice touch. Takes a minute to get going so be patient. Hot tub waterfeature is nice too. Had to add water to it to get it going. Wonder if previous tenants thought maybe it just didn't work but it does. Hose right underneath so filling tank is a breeze. Perfect for a couple to get away for a few days. Quiet and private. Comfortable bed. Suggest the owner take an inventory of the silverware, plates, glasses, etc. Time for a total replacement. Showing wear and short a number of pieces. Hot tub did not seem clean and no information left by management company on whether the water had been replaced or what the cleaning process is. I asked that question in an email a few weeks before arrival but did not get an answer. The back porch is amazing ... just uneasy about Hot Tub. ##### Jeff H. This private cabin was the perfect getaway! It felt very luxurious while still presenting a cute cozy cabin feel. We loved soaking in the hot tub and staring at the beautiful scenery. We also appreciated the wifi and cable to relax at night and watch movies. We also loved that this was a dog friendly place - it can be so hard to find fun stays that allow dogs. Also for it being built on a mountain top, there was actually some nice flat grassy areas for our pup to relieve herself (which can be a challenge with some mountain side cabins as most don't have any flat grassy areas). Also another great thing, this cabin is located about 15-20 minutes from Helen, GA which is the cutest little downtown area with a german cottage type feel. So many store fronts and fun restaurants! While other cabins we've stayed in at Christmas were decorated, this one was not but we brought all our presents so it still felt festive. I would however, highly recommend not arriving after dark as we did! We drove from Mississippi and had about a 7 hour drive. Traffic was very bad coming thru Atlanta which put us behind. We had a hard time finding the cabin in the dark - but that was our fault! Would've been a breeze driving to it in the day light as the directions were very clear! The cabin itself is beautiful and so is the mountain view! With the exception of there not being any firewood for the inside fireplace, outside fireplace or the fire pit, it was perfect and had everything we needed - especially the kitchen We did purchase several bundles of firewood so we were able to enjoy the fireplace on several very cold nights. This location is a short drive to Helen, GA which we very much enjoyed. I would highly recommend staying here. The fact that it is pet friendly and we were able to bring our 4 lb. Yorkie was really a plus! We had a wonderful time and definitely plan on going back. ##### Johna V.
