Mavillette Beach Lodge and RV Park

Mavillette Beach Lodge and RV Park

10/10 Excellent
"The property was clean and the staff was friendly. The view was beautiful. When we were there, they are doing some renovations and construction was going on in the back. The bed was comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is fans in the room. They do not have AC, which wasn't necessarily needed, but because of that the room needed the window open or would be stuffy. A fan would have been nice."

"We come back every year. Great location on the beach! Fabulous view, access to the beach, clean, convenient, everything you need is at the cottage (dishes, pots & pans, coffee, tea, BBQ, deck with lots of chairs). Jacques is always available if you have questions."

"The cottage really out did the photos. It felt like home immediately, only with Great Lake views from every window. My first thought was I wonder if they’d like to sell this place! Jacques is a great host and responded right away to questions and took care of all our needs. Suggested a local farmers market, restaurants and even gave us a jar of his pickled bar clams. Super guy and host."

"We were a group of 40 something year olds staying for a friend’s bachelorette weekend and the accommodations far exceeded our expectations! Beverly was very responsive and super easy to communicate with. The space was perfect…every small detail was thought of including such things as having lamps and shelves near beds, cozy throw blankets for lounging and tissues around the home. The kitchen was well stocked with every type of pot, pan, cooking gadget or utensil you would ever need. Upon entering, you could smell how clean the space was and it was evident that great pride is taken in cleaning the space. The beds were comfy, the windows allowed for natural light and beautiful views and the grounds were wonderfully kept. There were helpful instructions provided for recycling/garbage disposal as well as suggestions for local attractions. If you are lucky enough to stay here, you certainly won’t be disappointed! It would be a delight to return someday!!"

"Great stay with everything we needed and then some! It was myself, my husband and our 2 year old staying here. The amenities were plentiful- paddle boards, kayaks, hot tub, fire pits with fire wood, grill. Location was great-about 25 min from Yarmouth, just 10 mins to the most beautiful west facing beach for sunset. It was a lovely, peaceful stay. Bonus- all the locals we met were so welcoming and friendly. Also- can’t beat the price!"

8/10 Good
"Stayed here for one night when we went Whale watching. It was a self check in property but the hosts responded very quickly when I asked questions. The actual apartment was a bit dark but it was in the basement so to be expected. There were all the amenities needed which was great as we cooked dinner there that night. It was far from any town so you have to make sure you either bring food or eat before you get there but is very convenient to the East ferry if you are going Whale watching on Brier island!"
