However, my experience with the property manager, Patricia, was deeply disappointing. Prior to booking, I confirmed that kayaks were available and ready to use. Upon arrival, they were filthy and clearly hadn’t been touched in years. Patricia told me to clean them myself, which took hours—on a one-night stay with only a few hours of daylight left upon arrival, this completely undermined the purpose of my visit. When I shared my concerns with Patricia, Patricia was dismissive, rude, and unhelpful. Her lack of professionalism left a sour impression. The home is nicely updated with fantastic views of the Esopus creek and the lighthouse. Great location. Very quiet and relaxing. The back porch is a highlight with lots of room, a great grill, lights, and fans. The back wall of doors allows full views to the creek from inside. The yard is nicely landscaped. We had a boat and the dock was perfect for lots of fishing as well.
