Shops, restaurants, and bars are steps outside this apartment. This apartment has1 Queen bed. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo. Come and enjoy all of what downtown Saugatuck has to offer day and night! Parking is available in any legal parking spot on the street. Private parking is not available. By renting this apartment you are agreeing to the following rules: (RULES ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED) 1.) No smoking. All of our rentals are non-smoking. 2.) You and your guests are using our home at your own risk. We nor the owner of the property will be held responsible for any injuries that occur at the vacation rental or for any lost or stolen items. 3.) Do not move the furniture. 4.) Each cottage has a maximum number of guests that is listed on this contract you must verify that it is correct. That number is not to be exceeded - this includes children and adults. For fire safety, we are required to limit the number in each home. If additional people are found to be staying at the cottage the entire group will be asked to vacate with no refund. Inflatable mattresses or alternative sleeping other than pack n plays or cribs are not allowed. Tents are also not allowed on the property. 5.) Pets are not permitted. If a pet is on the property then there will be a $1500 fee and it will be required that the owner board the pet immediately. 6.) Damages are to be reported during your stay. If we find damage after you vacate, you authorize the charge to your credit card for replacement or repair or provide another credit card number, pay by cash or check. Damages reported upon arrival will not be guests' responsibility. 7.) Cleaners will come to the cottage after you have departed - they will not visit to clean, change linens, or replace towels during your stay. Please contact the office should you need assistance during your stay regarding any cleaning items. 8.) Quiet time is after 10pm nightly. We do not tolerate loud groups and college like parties anytime of the day or night. Drinking games are not allowed on the property. Neighbors must NOT hear you inside or outside the cottage after 10pm. 9.) You are at least 25 years old and will be able to verify with valid identification during your stay if needed. 10.) Weddings and formal events are NOT permitted on our properties, if there is found to be a formal event on the property the entire group will be asked to vacate the property with a no refund. It is acceptable to have a visitors during the day hours but that number can not be more than 1.5 times the maximum occupancy of the cottage. 11.) Fireworks are prohibited on the property at all times. 12.) Please note to read the street signs in the winter months as you must park on certain sides of the street on certain days for the snow plows. \*Disclosure: There may be cameras with sound at outside entrances of cottages ONLY. These rules are strictly enforced due to NEW city and township ordinances. This contract is the only warning you will get. If any rules are not followed all local fines, security deposits and any other charges will be charged to guest and the entire group will be asked to vacate the property. Pros- location is amazing, cant get much better. The apartment was cute and the bed was comfortable. Cons- poor communication with management, they provide a number to call and text as well as an email to contract them. Prior to the trip i reached out via email, no response. i tried sending a text, no response. Upon arrival we had a difficult time finding the location so i attempted to call them, no answer. The address is to a restaurant below the apartment, we eneded up asking at the restaurant where the apartment is. The apartment was mostly clean except for the floor, which had sand/dirt on the floor enough to the point where we had to wipe our feet regularly while walking through. Lastly, it has been over 2 weeks and we have not received our deposit back, again with no communication from management. ##### Robyn I. Check-in was a breeze with excellent comprehensive instructions from the host. I was concerned about the street parking, but we had no difficulty finding parking near the unit. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was good with the space available.Only suggestion for improvement the bedroom was a bit warm with the positioning of the AC unit and many of the windows were not able to be opened. Right in the heart of downtown. However, with that comes the nightlife noise (band playing at Wally’s) that you will be able to hear up through 2 am in the morning. Its right on Water Street and Hoffman, and absolutely everything you want to see starts just as you leave your door! In my opinion, one can stay outside of town to save a few dollars but you'll have to drive in, go through a lot of waiting to find a parking space, not have easy bathroom access or a place to nap while awaiting the nightlife -- or -- just pay a little more for a fantastic apartment where you park once and enjoy all the town has to offer. This is a second floor apartment (I know the layout says 1st floor . . . ) and it is just right for two people. Everything you need is there (plenty of towels for like, 12 people), and if you don't want to bother making coffee in the morning just go downstairs out the front door and within 60 seconds you can be at any one of four coffee/breakfast shops. Everything you need to see is an easy walk. The host has excellent communication, even letting me park and lock up my expensive bike inside a gated entry (they own the entire building which has multiple units). The apartment is very clean, well-maintained. The bed is a double and a little bouncy but we're so tired by days-end that we pretty much fell asleep immediately. Yeah, there's a little noise from the local bars that all ends at 11pm, so, big deal, right?
