It was raining heavily with strong wind. It’s lucky that we stayed at the Amsterdam Hotel inside Huis Ten Bosch area. The room is very comfortable to stay at with abundant amenities provided. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant as well due to poor weather. The buffet food was suitable for kids. The room was VERY spacious with nice beds and a large seating area. Bathroom was also very clean and spacious with a powder/sink room separate from the bath. Toilet also separate. We had a room with a view towards the harbor which was beautiful. Breakfast buffet could be combined with room cost, but we were also able to purchase separately. Luggage can be dropped off at the gate by the parking, you need park pass for your first day there, the day after your stay, hotel provides a pass. On the morning you leave, drop your luggage off in the lobby and a few hours later it will be ready for pickup near the gate again. This was very convenient. Being able to stay meant we could simply return to the hotel after the fountain lightshow (sometimes with fireworks) get to some busy attractions early the next morning as well with no lines! Breakfast buffet had a nice spread of Japanese and western offerings.
