The pools are plentiful and shade is readily available. I did not go to the beach. Too hot for me. Our room was clean. Nice balcony on the garden view. Furnishings and decor is dated and tired but the hotel has a major update planned so will get better soon. Staff accommodated our reservation request to be close to elevator. Much appreciated. The grounds are well maintained and the staff couldn't have been nicer. But the food made me violently ill. Nothing I ate during my time there was outstanding (which is to be expected at an all-inclusive in this price range), but it was the seafood soup that put me over the edge. Other guests reported having similar stomach issues. Needless to say, I won't be going back. I mean, the least an international resort can do is not poison its guests, right?"
