The location is perfect. Close to pretty much everything! Right on the bay. Music at the tiki-but not so loud you cant enjoy a quiet room! Host was super responsive!

Perfect vacation

Everything about this property was perfect. Room was clean excellent seating on the marina to view the sunset and listen to music from the Tiki Bar. They provided great entertainment along with friendly service and good food. We hope to be able to return to this property again next year

I would stay at the Ramada again but I would go as a hotel guest and not use VRBO. You would want the amenities of the hotel. We had to pay for breakfast and toilet paper.We had to pay for breae wanted

i LIKED THE WARM POOL AND THE RESTAURANT. NEAT TO BE ON THE MARINA. DIDN'T LIKE PAYING FOR bREAKFAST AND ONE MORNING I ONLY HAD $11.00 AND DESK DIDN'T HAVE 30 CENTS CHANGE REALLY. GETTING A SMALL SAMPLE BOTTLE OF SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER REALLY AND HAVING TO PAY $1.00 FOR OTHERS WAS OUTRAGEOUS. ALL MY OTHER HOTELS HAVE DOVE ATTACHED TO WALL-MAYBE YOU SHOULD LOOK INTO DOING THAT. CLOSENESS TO POOL AND FIRST FLOOR WAS SO NICE. HAVING A RESTAURANT THERE ALSO GREAT. IF I STAY AGAIN I'LL BRING MY OWN SHAMPOO FROM HOME TO SAVE MONEY.

Decent with a great tiki bar

I stayed here by myself for a week while my daughter stayed with her team for a soccer tournament. The reviews are accurate, no drainage in the shower (maintenance responded and fixed temporarily), very loud planes overhead, moldy bathroom tiles, bad shower head, however, the good things were proximity to Sarasota airport and beaches, price, and a great tiki bar with great food on site. The pool is nice and the marina is pretty. I would bring ear plugs (for bedtime) and plan to spend most of my time outside during your stay but overall decent room for decent price.

No hot water in shower Shower drain plugged Cockroach seen in room Wiped down surfaces with disenfecting cloths which were filthy by the time we was done. No stopper in sink.. Nice fridge freezer. Nice yard and plenty of chairs to sit in along the marina. I enjoyed watching the aircraft coming in.

The unit is a renovated small motel room, one of approximately 50-75(?) in a former wing of the adjacent Ramada Inn. Owner had good intentions but poor taste. Furniture is too large, making it seem even smaller. Lots of rules, few amenities. There is a very good Tiki bar/restaurant next door and a nice, large, very cold unheated pool. Nice wharf ambiance.

Sara Bay Marina

Central location overlooking the marina, excellent restaurant, outstanding restaurant staff. Older building undergoing remodel, noisy at times. Couple of palmetto bugs got inside, seemed to happen when construction was happening. Older furnishings but functional. Door lock was very finicky, had to swipe card several times to gain entry. Boat rental place never called us back. Property is in airport's flight path, so be ready for low flying jets. Local bar crowd made it fun.

excellent view and great ameneties

our room overlooked the marina and pool area. the room was small but just fine for a 3 night stay as we did not have an efficiency. the room only has 1 chair so we brought a beach chair in so we could both sit if we watched tv as it's more comfortable. Todd, the property manager was great and accommodating, even offered us more linens if we needed but we read other reviews prior to our arrival and brought extra. the hotel has 2 dining "rooms". or places to eat but off the same wonderful menu. the hotel staff was also great, and very friendly. the room is a little "older" but again just perfect for a short stay. I know others have stayed monthly in that room. it is possible. the price is absolutely wonderful for February in Sarasota, and we will definitely stay there again.

Secret lil hide away❤️

The unit is in Desperate need of some small repairs and new bedding. Shower drain clog’s, towel rack falls down, dresser drawers are broken but we love this place anyways. Price can’t be beat!

Read the reviews carefully on this property

We weren’t expecting much for the price. We were looking for clean and affordable but this is what we got: 1) the shower did not drain well and left you showering in standing water 2) toilet was stopped up and not repaired until day 2 after notification (and yes, we called the number and no one answered and then walked to the Ramada to ask for assistance and then called your number listed again) 3) this is a hotel room not a studio 4) it took until day 3 to figure out the shower was put in upside down. Freezing cold position and if someone else uses the water you lose the hot during your shower. 5) We asked for clean linens and we never received them.
