The Mermaid Cottage was exactly what we have been looking for with close proximity to the beach, quiet neighborhood, and easy access to get around to other locations. The location just over the north bridge to Siesta Key was ideal and allows you to be on the beach in less that ten minutes from leaving the driveway. It is also close to Tamiami Trail and makes it easy to get to other beaches or restaurants. The unit was just as described, clean, and stocked with what guests need for the visit. This visit was just for my wife and me, but is setup to accommodate a family or two couples which allows plenty of privacy. We would not hesitate to stay at The Mermaid Cottage again and hope to find some openings on the schedule to do so. ##### Cory W. They thanked me multiple times for choosing this home. Good amount of space in the common area, both living rooms and kitchen. In the bedrooms, they were very comfortable. The location was great since it's close to a lot of places and the beach. We didn't get to enjoy the house as much as we did because we came to visit family for Thanksgiving but if it wasn't for that we would of spent our Saturday evening watching college football in both living rooms. Mermaid Cottage was a perfect location. It’s in a lovely neighborhood and is close to both the airport and the beach. The cottage is very clean and well appointed.
