Plus walking distance to many restaurants and grocery store, and only a short drive to downtown Sarasota, and St. Armand’s Circle. This single story, 3 bedroom two bathroom vacation home features a large heated swimming pool, a patio, and an inviting fenced outdoor space to enjoy the relaxed vibes of Sarasota. Close by Attractions: • Siesta Key Beach (12 mins, 5 miles) • Lido Beach (20 mins, 10 miles) • Downtown Sarasota (14 mins, 6.2 miles) • St. Armans Circle (20 mins, 10 miles) • Publix Grocery store (2 mins, 0.3 miles) The Space This single-family recently remodeled home is located on a quiet centrally located street, and is decorated with custom quality finishes. The open design concept spacious entry level features a modern dining room table and six chairs, plus a private working space with a desk perfect for working from home. The kitchen is recently updated with white cabinets and modern stainless-steel. Appliances. The main living room is open to the kitchen with plenty of natural sunlight and view of the outdoor back yard and pool. The living room offers a comfortable pull-out couch for additional sleeping space, and is equipped with a flat screen TV with HD programming. The living room is connected to a large-screened patio and is furnished with patio set, perfect for enjoying early morning coffee and outdoor family dinner. The master bedroom is on one side of the house, furnished with a queen-size bed and a memory foam mattress with and adjacent privet bathroom. The guest bedrooms are on the other side of the house. The first guestroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and a memory foam mattress with two large closets and access to the patio and pool. The second guest bedroom is equipped with two twin beds and memory foam mattresses, and a large closet. The is a separate guest bathroom recently updated and has a tub/shower. The backyard space features a large, uncovered heated pool with plenty of luscious green space and two chez lounges and outdoor umbrella. Master: Comfy queen size bed with memory foam mattress and adjacent private bathroom Guest Bedroom #1: Brand-new queen-size bed with new memory foam mattress Guest Bedroom #2: Two brand new twin beds with new memory foam mattress Kitchen: Recently updated with white cabinet and beautiful solid stones, stainlessness appliances. Stocked with all you need to cook Dining Room: Modern dining table with 6 chairs and a private space with a desk for working from home Living Room: Comfortable pull-out couch, with flat screen TV and HD programming Pool Heater The pool is heated during the cooler months (Oct-April). The Temperature is set 85 degrees, based on circumstances Temperature can be increased o 87 degrees. Pool heater is not typically needed from May through September unless the outside temps are unusually cold Outdoor space: Large patio with outdoor furniture and access to a spacious green back yard, newly renovated heated pool, and two lounges, and umbrella. Please not the screener had to be removed due to Hurricane Ian and are in the process of installing a new one at a future date due to delays in supplies availability Guest access Keyless Entry Private Washer/Dryer, and wireless internet is provided throughout the home Other things to note: • As an avid traveler, I ensure that my property meets the same standards as my home, with handpicked finishes and items throughout the house, as well as meet all sanitization requirements • I love my neighbors (who love a good time also), so I ask that you please be respectful and exercise good judgement re: no late-night noise/music or parties • The outdoor pool is maintained by a professional crew weekly during your stay. A pole and a skimmer net will be provided on-site as well • Placing very hot items directly on the kitchen countertop can cause permanent damage to the surface. please exercise caution when cooking. However, there were a few issues that could be improved upon. There is no comfortable seating in this house. The heated pool was the best part. I hate to leave a bad review, however, I will not choose to stay here again. Cons- unfortunately, this place is a poorly renovated, not well maintained property. There were several plastic cups in the pool/trash in the yard, screws lying around the back….upon arriving, we were greeted with several strong air fresheners in each room which were really quite bothersome to our children and family. The light switches were broken throughout the home, it was very challenging to know which light switches were the correct ones to use. There was a different type of light bulb for each light. There was a similar review that mentioned the electricity not being up to code…there’s something there. There are no fans in the bathrooms, which is highly concerning for mold. We barely opened the blinds and they were falling off of the windows, the place was not family friendly. There are dangerous steps throughout the house making the floor uneven. Additionally, the water filter on the fridge said past due needing replacement. We were traveling with children and there was nothing there to accommodate them. There was no tub stopper so that way our baby could take a bath. Additionally, the living room furniture is not comfortable and if you are planning a long stay this is not the space for you to relax. ##### Angela B. Lots of room for everyone to find quiet spots. Laundry room was wonderful to have. The neighbourhood is great - quiet but just a couple of blocks from grocery, gas, everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable. The host was very attentive, if needed. I informed him of a few ideas that may enhance the stay for future guests. We enjoyed the pool, as well. The back of the house and patio looks to have had some hurricane damage. We brought our own Keurig for morning coffee and prepared our breakfast daily. We also brought all of our gear for the beach (chairs, umbrellas, towels, beach toys, and cooler) which is advised if you plan on venturing there. There are so many great restaurants close by along with shopping. Overall, we had a great time! ##### Jaimie V. I do not want to cause a property owner problems making an income. But... this property was not worth the price I paid for it. It was not by any means horrible but, it also did not live up to my expectiations for the price I paid in the area it was located. THIS IS THE MESSAGE I SENT TO THE OWNER : Thank you so much for providing a clean and attractive house for us to stay in for the last 12 days! There are, however, some key components that have been overlooked, insufficient, unsafe or completely missing altogether. These are things that should be expected in a rental at this price point, in this location. Here is a quick list of issues we experienced: \*Sleeping arrangements (and reservations) for 6 people yet there are only 5 bath towels & 4 beach towels. \*Seating in Living Room for maybe 3 people comfortably (we had to bring outdoor chairs inside and a chair from a bedroom) to sit together in the evening. \*Kitchen is not appropriately appointed with some of the basic essentials; no sheet-pans for use in the oven, no spatula, no toaster, only 3 butter knives. \*Multiple light switches, through out the house, are non functioning which raises concerns for the integrity and safety of the electrical system. \*\*Most concerning… outdoor pool area in back yard is in disrepair and borderline unsafe; partial wall is half unpainted and has splintering wood, old aluminum pieces are hanging off of the roof area, screws and nails laying around pool area where we are walking with bare feet. I understand there was a hurricane, but it was 3 months ago, a quick clean up of the outdoor area to address the pieces of metal hanging off the house and a simple walk around the yard could remedy a good number of the outdoor safety issues. A bit of attention to a few simple details in the house would have made our stay much more enjoyable. I had to go purchase multiple items for my family to manage the basics for a week's stay. None of the above items were addressed in the VRBO listing. ##### linda r.
