Tucked behind St Armand's Circle stores, through a secret, rear-door entrance, lies a vibrant space, drawing inspiration from speakeasy culture fused w/ a beach vibe. Your adventure starts the moment you step through that unassuming door, greeted by a hidden washer and dryer, a ocean-blue concrete-floor corridor with vibrant blue walls, leading to a small 2 flight stairway (no elevators here!), and a code-locked doorknob entrance to your abode on the second floor for extra security and privacy.. Inside, discover a thoughtfully designed 2-bedroom, 1-bath haven with a fully equipped kitchen. The fusion of beachy elements and speakeasy accents is evident in every nook and cranny. Parking: While a dedicated parking spot isn't available, if you have a car to park, there are plenty of free and paid street parking spots very close by within walking distance (150-200ft). There are always plenty of parking spots no matter what time of year you book! The Beachy Speakeasy is a haven for pedestrians and Uber aficionados. Want to bike around? Rest assured, you are in a safe & well lit area and in a nice neighborhood. We strive for transparency so you know exactly what to expect before stepping foot in this vibrant retreat! \*\*\*In regards to Florida's natural wildlife, floral and fauna, we will sometimes experience mosquitoes, ants, spiders, cockroaches, etc. outside. We have regular pest treatments performed both inside & outside the unit. We also personally, utilize bait, traps and sprays to keep these insects outside where they belong. Please don't keep windows without screens or doors open too long as you may inadvertently let some inside. Should you come across any pests during your stay, please make us aware so we can address the situation. While it's rare to come across these pests inside, a refund will not be offered for the occasional occurrence. We always want you to be comfortable during your stay and you will find that we act quickly and with compassion to resolve any issues you have. A few steps out the door and you are on St. Armands circle. The rooftop deck was amazingt for morning breakasft or watching the sunset with evening cocktails. The place was supee clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Chad was awesome and responded quickly and.made sure we had everything we needed. My husband and I nad a great time and will definitely stay here again the next time we visit St Armands. ##### Jean D. Finally a property description and pictures that match what you get when you arrive! We really enjoyed the location, all the amenities i.e. coffee, charging locations throughout, bathroom extra's, it felt like a hotel! The bedrooms and bathroom were spacious and decorated so nicely. Everything you need is within walking distance. We did not get a chance to spend time on the beach but we noticed beach chairs, wagon and lots of other extras to use at the beach. ##### Melissa R. When they found out we were going over for her birthday they even offered a bottle of wine to help celebrate. We respectfully declined as we are not wine drinkers but we really appreciated the gesture. The speakeasy is very close to all the shops, restaurants and bars. This condo is located on top of a commercial building that is part of the circle that forms the entertainment district. You are literally steps away from any number of great restaurants, bars and shops. We spent a lot of time walking the beach, which stretches for several miles, and is only a couple blocks away. Communication with the owner was prompt and friendly and the place as very clean and extremely well appointed. We will be back and will stay here again. ##### stephen p. Kitchen and bathroom were extremely outdated with original everything- 70’s cabinets that had a coat of paint as an “update,” 6x6 tile flooring w dark brown grout, and chipped formica countertops. Walls were covered with cracked mirrors and scratched/scuffed up paint, hollow doors had original 70’s hardware, and flooring was aged tile covered with dingy area rugs. The white refrigerator contained old food and condiments. Furniture was likely from a garage sale or Salvation Army. Access to the unit was through a tourist t-shirt shop or back alley lined w dumpsters and garbage cans. The access door had a metal bar gate over it. The musty, concrete stairwell up to the unit was beyond creepy. We felt extremely unsafe! When we contacted the host to let him know we weren’t comfortable staying there, he was extremely defensive and accusatory of our intentions. He sent us off with a “I’m sorry you feel that way” and “safe travels home” as we headed out with a 2 1/2 hour drive ahead of us. Can’t help but think we were victims of a scam. ##### Karen D. You might hesitate at having to enter the property through an alley but it is very safe and is as good as pictured. The beds in the two bedrooms are very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. The kitchen is well stocked for preparing meals and the living room is comfortably furnished. The best feature is the rooftop patio area. Great for catching the morning sun and relaxing with cocktails while taking in the evening sound of St. Arrmand Circle. The property owner, Chad, did a great job in communicating with us. Our stay was scheduled just six weeks after Sarasota had taken a direct hit from Hurricane Milton. As he would say, he was very transparent about the damage his property had experienced and the damage to the beaches and businesses in the area. Beaches were open, businesses in the circle are working to fully reopen and his property was in great shape. You would never know the ground floor entrance area had 2 to 3 feet of water just two months earlier. I would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a unique experience while visiting Sarasota. We are looking forward to a return visit as businesses fully reopen on St. Armand Circle. ##### Richard H. The accommodation was perfect. Location fantastic and all the facilities left to use beach buggy, chairs. Shampoo shower gel. Plenty of fresh towels.All the kitchen equipment and condiments to use was fantastic.. very responsive host answered any questions we had straight away. We have no doubt that it will soon be booked years in advance. Chad was so easy to communicate with through the entire pre-vacation process and made us feel so comfortable and appreciated as renters. The location is perfect, 5 mins from the beach and 1 min from St Armand’s circle. The location could not be any more ideal for a family, we dined out at local family restaurants, used the kitchen to cook meals when it was convenient and visited the beach each morning to search for shells. We picked the location randomly and really hit the jack pot. Our host was very responsive and accommodating, particularly with an early check in and had some food supplies to tide us over until we got to a supermarket. Very clean, spacious apartment, comfortable beds, with everything you could possibly need for a short stay. Parking was easy(and free) once you follow the directions provided. 10 out of 10 stay. ##### Robert B. We had a wonderful experience at the Beachy Speakeasy. Chad has created a wonderful space in which you can relax, enjoy the shopping nearby and unwind from travel. Thoughtful details abound in the unique space above St. Armand's Circle. The outdoor space is phenomenal. Lido Beach is just a short walk, and all of the tools to enjoy it are right there in the unit: chairs, wagon, umbrella. Sarasota's new trolley service made getting back and forth to downtown a breeze. Chad's communication was clear and we knew exactly what to expect throughout our stay.
