We stayed here for 5 nights and we really liked it- not a typical Best Western by any means. First, the location is very good, which is near the Sapporo station and Odori park. That's why, many restaurants are accessible from the hotel. Secondly, staffs of the hotel are so kind of me. When I asked about recommended restaurants near the hotel, they were eager to find the restaurants with their smiles. That's all. ##### ?? The hotel is very basic but there was nothing bad about it. The cleaning staff do such a great job the room was incredibly clean which we appreciate. Some other reviews had said the location wasn't the best but I disagree. You have to walk everywhere in Japan and the tv tower is max 10 minutes away which is amazing, right in front of odori park, close to 7-11 and Family Mart, 10 mins the other direction to the government building, and the airport limousine bus stop is a 7ish minute walk away! The hotel was also very nice, with daily cleaning and comfortable beds. Location is central to everything and staff are so lovely. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Our room overlooked Odori Park so had amazing views over Sapporo Snow Festival. Room was beautiful, just a bit small for us big westerners but had everything we needed. Can't wait to stay again next year. Highly recommend!! Almost everywhere inside central Sapporo was in walkable distance.
