Everything was there and stocked up. We were able to truly relax! The view from the deck was so beautiful, especially in the morning. There was also a really cute beach on the lake with boats and things to rent as well as ice cream. This was a short walk from the house, down on the trail. Because I want it available each time I want to visit Sapphire valley. John, the owner, wants everything convenient for the renter. He is very responding to any needs or issues. The property has great lake views and is very convenient to restaurants and shopping. We stayed there with two other couples and used it as our base camp for hiking around the area. Each bedroom is actually a private suite, complete with full bath, large walk in closet and spacious vanity. The view of the lake is astounding! Every room has a magnificent view and the large deck adjacent to the living, dining and kitchen adds significantly to the wonderful experience. The owner takes extra care to provide most of the needed supplies, linen, towels, soap and other necessary items. He also checked on us to "see if we needed anything", this was an unexpected and delightful touch! They also provide a library of local history, telescopes and outdoor furniture. The decor was modern and everything was clean and spacious. We also really enjoyed the big wraparound balcony and view of the lake. The location was perfect -- about a 5-7 minute drive from the Cashiers town center but you feel like you are in the middle of the forest. It is also about 5 minutes from the grocery. The owners have a lot of birding equipment and bird feeders available if you are into that. A tip- There is a nice walking path that goes around the lake about a 1 minute walk from the townhome. The walk takes around an hour and I highly recommend it. Will definitely be returning! ##### Sophia R.
